this is my squat from today......

anything i could have done different or any tips? or was it just too heavy?
i personally think i could have got it with abit more confidents under the bar and in the whole and dropping into the suit faster...which i did in training and worked wonders, just couldnt pull it off with a slightly heavier weight.

A few things:
1) at :35/36, break with the hips more and sit back more from the getgo
Notice on my squat here:

Its subtle, but its there. First movement is BACK. Load the hell out of that suit.
2) Do NOT let your air out in the hole. Unless your name is Chuck V, you can't do that w/ a big squat and get away with it. As soon as you did that you were done for. Stay TIGHT. If you have to, let your air out slowly as you near the top. but letting your air out in the hole is just asking for a miss.
3) You might want to take your grip in a bit. That should help your upper back to stay tighter and let you keep your arch better. When you get bigger and put more muscle on your upper back you can take your grip out if need be. Unless its a flexibility issue in which case you know what you need to do then.
There's always another meet. You got a good future in the sport if you work on a few things.

ok thanks,
and i used to sit back alot further but i felt my chest coming forward and used alot more back while squating, so i changed to not sitting back quite as far....i think i do need to sit back alittle mor but kind of worried about chest coming forward...how can i fix this?
and i noticed this just before i read the post, abotu breathing...i dotn normally breathe out int eh hole, but i think because it took me soo long to get down ther and felt like my head was abotu to explode i breathed out too early. lesson learnt for next time!
thanks for help

I've seen you breathe out in the hole a few times in training for this meet. Obviously I don't know if you usually do it because I'm the new kid but it's something to watch out for before it becomes a bad habit IMO.

How much was that attempt? How much were the 1st and 2nd attempts?

You're only 16, and got plenty of time to learn and improve. You already got a very good squat, and you're already used to the meet "environment". Those are major plus. Good luck next time.
