SO CLOSE!!! Free couple thousand dollar cable crossover

I saw it advertised on CL yesterday just as it posted... sent the email and never heard anything from it... I knew I had to be the 1st few at the very worst though... sent a second email before bed.... and finally got a call today 945am... come and get it...got the addy and mobilized a trailer and some 6 footers 200 plus pound manual labor (aka friends)... had it all ready to roll... took me an hour to get it all ready...

was in constant contact with her so she knows i wasnt flaking out on her..

she told me she had contacted the 1st 4 people and 1st come 1st serve...

literally went to pick up the phone to call her tell her im on my way... and the phone rings.. says a guy pulled up without a trailer and its def not gonna fit so she will call me and keep me posted...

well she called me back... no go..they are gonna take it... probably go rent a trailer from that point or something is my guess...

i should have driven right over there and mobilized the workforce from there..LOL....

she said she had it on CL for about 2 months for 1200 and dropped the price every so often... and a few came to look at it...but that it was too big for them...

here are the pics... its a magnum cable crossover 6 weight stacks... figured at least 3-4 grand worth...

so close... man that would have been nice to add to the garage gym... for free

That's why I don't care for the whole 1st come 1st serve thing. I work with my buyers as much as I can and try to wait if I can. Sometimes I get stuck, but I've sold everything I've had for sale so far. Of the few people who've told me they wouldn't hold something I told em to stick it. I'll be damned if I'm gonna waste my time and gas driving across town just to watch someone drive away with the chit I wanted.

Too bad you couldn't have thrown her a couple hundo to hold it. The last deal I got the dude didn't want to hold for a day, so I offered him $25 more and he bit. It was that good of a deal.

ya she told me they are going to take it.... but she would keep me posted if anything changes... so its 99.9% gone...

DAMN...what a sweet miss... i was almost there... if she would have only emailed me last night or called me with addy or anything i would have been over there 1st thing this morning at her convien...
