This is a business practice I just can't wrap my head around. Let's say you can justify paying $60K for a set of bells, wouldn't you expect to keep them forever? If you're gonna replace the things every 10 years.....why not buy a set for say $10K?

It doesn't matter what the company makes either. If they make that much they could certainly find a better use for the money (no judgement here....just anything would be a better use) or charge less for tickets.
I don't care if your company makes 1 million a year or 50 billion....you gotta control the green!

I think my eyes are going bad.....those db's don't look black to me =)

If you're a Jag's fan.................

I'm with Keetman on this one.

Why would they replace those? They look perfect. What kind of dumbbells are they going to buy that will be better than those?

Hmmm?? Maybe Fred Taylor licked all of them after they released him.

What kind of fool would spend $65k on dumbbells much less $21k?

Judging by last season, the Jags front line are using bowflexs now so they don't need em' anyway. Tryin' to recoup some money in a bad economy, ya know? ;)

Why would you replace them? No bolts, no welds = lasts practically forever.

It cracks me up how they put will sacrifice. I agree with Keetman, hell the price of parking a game should cover a new set.

P.S. can someone loan me 20,000 bucks for a couple of weeks ;-)

I agree. If I were A LOT richer these would go into my gym complex. Building my dream gym piece by piece helps me fall asleep at night. So thank you Jags!

Hmmm,

I wonder if the other NFL teams have the same setup (proper logo, of course)?

dream gym? these would go in gods dream gym and he'd have to make a deal with satan to get them.
i would die for 1/2 this set.
I'd trade my boat or my motorcyle for this set with racks.
anyone want a boat or a bike hit me up.

If I had $21,500.00 grand in the bank, I would be paying down my mortgage. Although a supreme set of weights, I could never justify it. This is for someone that obviously makes grand $$. Something I will not be making in this lifetime. lol it hurts me thinking of spending $500.00 on equipment for my basement gym never mind $21,500.00.
