Hi all
My goal is to enter the sports model section of a fitness competition in September this year, this is me at the moment. I have never taken dieting or cardio seriously enough so I will have no choice but to have a perfect and clean diet if I compete.
Can anybody who has experience in this area help me out?
Any tips to get lean?

Are you weight training? That will help you lean out...I'm not an expert but I think you have a very beautiful face....good luck with your goals!
P.S. maybe you should post what you do now and what you eat that would make it easier for the other ladies to give you tips

hi :)
thanks, yes i am weight training. I don't know how hard to push myself with the weights because I am the most muscly girl out of all the girls I know and I don't want to get too big
I love the lean look of a sports model
At the moment I'm looking for a fresh new plan because right now I've just come back from holidays and my eating is terrible. Here's the plan which I'm starting today
Oats - 1/3 cup - 100 calories
protein shake w water - 140
Almonds 84 calories
3 full eggs 210 calories + salad 100 calories
protein shake w water 140
2 vege dogs 170 + salad 100 calories
Protein shake 140
Total 1184
Training
40 minutes cardio in the morning - walk/light jog
4 day split at the gym
20 mins warm up before weights and 20 mins cool down after (bike + rower)
If I follow this plan do you think I"ll be as lean as a fitness model? Or do I have to taper it down week by week?

You are a very pretty girl. I wish you luck in your goals.
I am fairly new here, so definitely not qualified to give you a lot of advice. I do know one thing for sure, you have GOT to up your calories. Read a lot of the posts and stickies...there is a lot of information here for you...
Welcome!

I think you are absolutely stunning! But you could easily put on more muscle/get more definition without "getting too big." What kind of sports model are they marketing for that you're the most muscled gal in the comp? I would think that "sports" models would look. . .well. . .kind of muscley. I don't know anymore! These comp titles are so confusing these days!!! Fitness, figure, body, sports! It's dizzying! :)
I think you'd benefit by doing a search and taking a look at pre-comp diets of other ladies on this site. (Kimm4 comes to mind. . .but there are countless others!)
No matter what you do, good luck in the comp!!!

You would def. make a beautiful sports model!!
But you really do need to up those calories. Anything under 1200 per day, especially if you are trying to put on a bit of muscle is going to have negative effects on your goals. Plus i would try to add more lean protein (don't know if you are a vegetarian but chicken and grass fed beef come to my mind as great sources, as well as wild caught salmon).
Working out with weights is probably going to be best for you as well. I wouldn't worry about getting too big either. I know a ton of girls who are tiny but lift heavy and look great. Just make sure you are being careful and are using the proper form. :)
