I competed in a mma bout august 2007, and before that I had won two no-gi grappling tournaments. After my cage match I took some time off to heal and rest, got a girlfriend, starting partying alot and lost track of my atheletic dreams. I have 2 years of wrestling experience, 2 years of boxing, about 1 and a half years of muay thai, and about 2 years of brazilian jiu-jitsu, mainly no-gi some gi. I have also done bodybuilding for about two years, got up to 200 lbs 12% bodyfat, then started venturing into MMA. Cut down to 185 lbs for the tournaments, then cut down to 170 lbs for the mma bout, although I weighed in under at 165. I got a new scale today and it says 183 lbs.

My goal is to get back into fighting shape and hopefully step back in the cage. Due to money issues I only have a membership to 24 hour fitness so now I am just going to get back in shape before MMA training again. Right now I am focusing on improving my conditioning as well as gaining some solid muscle weight, then cut back down once I start training mma again. I plan to get up to hopefully 195 or even 200. I will keep this thread updated on my workouts and training to help focus and motivate me to get back to fighting, which is what I love.

Yesterday I did a mile warm-up and a ab/chest/pushing routine. Today I did the following:

8 Minute Incline Mile Warm-Up
Lat pulldowns 4 sets
dumbbell upright row snatch 4 sets
dumbbell squat push press 4 sets
inward outward dumbbell rotations 3 sets
seated lat rows 3 sets
bicep machine 3 sets

Today's workout was to focus on the mile run followed by alot of lat/bicep endurance work for grappling. In the future I plan on including javorek dumbbell complex conditioning routine every workout. I also try to focus on alot of compound exercises and power lifts.

This is the video from my first fight, hopefully I can get in better shape and perform even better in the future:
