View Full Version : Starting Prime, Anabolic Pump, Powerfull Stack

Im 19 yrs old weighing 178, and im trying to bulk up a bit. Iv heard some good and some bad from usp labs... but from what iv tried iv had good results. So i thought id give the Asteroid stack a little go to see if i can add on some weight. Im going ot be doign a semi clean bulk, with mainly eating oats and sweat potatoes, but my mom is getting pissed off that I'm not eating her food so have to eat some of her meals hence the semi clean. My caloric intake will be around 3200 a day, with 250-300 g of protein and 350-400 g of carbs leaving 44-88 g of fat... mainly healthy fats from flax seed/oil, olive oil, and almonds.
My supplements i am taking are
Prime 2x3 daily 7 days a week
Anabolic Pump 1x3 daily 7 days a week
Powerfull 3 before workout, 2 before bed. 5 days on 2 off
Super cissus 2x2 daily
Animal Pak 1 pack daily
Animal Omega 1 pack daily
ON 100% Whey
ON Casein
My Training is a 3 day resistance training split with 2 cardio days.
Monday Chest/ Little Back
Tuesday- Bike, Skip, BFS Dots
Wed - Legs/ Little Back
Thursday- Bike, Skip, Ladder/ Slide Board
Friday- Shoulders/ Arms
Sat- Off
Sun- Off

Well so far im enjoying this stack because my sleeps are amazing, wake up refreshed and ready to hit the day with force. My recovery has gotten better, along with some strength gains. So im very happy this far :)

Have you ever tried and/or heard of the Thrower's Ten? They are a set of light/no resistance exercises designed at strengthening the shoulder girdle as a whole. I had used them in the past with a great amount of success!

? no iv never heard or that before, but i do 6 diff rotator exercises before all chest and shoulder workouts, and it helps a bit. but the only real thing that will fix this is surgery.... iv dislocated my shoulder 67 times in 2 and a half years.... so

So its been one week, and iv liked it so far. I have gotten a little better sleep, in the week. But on the weekend when i was cycling off powerfull i wasnt getting the same sleep. I was waking up a bit tired nothing major but there was a difference. So i know Powerfull is working. With the Prime and Anabolic pump im not sure i have felt much yet, but my pumps have gotten a little better I have gained 3.5 lb in my first week... i dont know how much this is due to the stack or just the food consumption, but over all im happy with what has happened this week.
Im doing my workout later today and i will post my numbers up and see if there is an improvement in my training.

Have you ever tried and/or heard of the Thrower's Ten? They are a set of light/no resistance exercises designed at strengthening the shoulder girdle as a whole. I had used them in the past with a great amount of success!
So what are these exercises i would like to add them in my warmup.

Sound great and solid progress so far. I'm considering a similar stack so I'm interested to read into your progress. I am just coming off ANIMAL PUMP and ANIMAL TEST but I am really excited about the great things I am hearing from PRIME. Good Luck and keep training hard.
If you have shoulder problems why do you do behind the neck SH Press? That doesn't bother you at all?

So its week 2, and so far i ave see some gains in my strength, and my recovery time has increased. My rest as iv said earlier has improved greatly when im taking Powerfull. On Monday during my workout i wasn't really motivated and i felt like it was going to be a bad day for my numbers, but as soo ans i started i felt amazing, my bench felt better than ever, and by the end of my workout i felt like i could run a marathon... which i thought was weird. Im training legs today and i feel great, so i will post todays numbers later... but here are mondays numbers

Yes it feels weird for my shoulder, but it doesnt hurt when i do behind the neck press, and over my 3 years with this injury the thing that has helped the most has been the things that feel weird/ push the limits of it... with proper rest afterwards. That has always been my problem resting after my workouts. It get so tired the easiers things make it pop out. as in one time i was at yoga and i had my hand above my head and it slipped out.

i felt great today during my workout. I got a little discuraged with my squat but i still had an alright number. Here is my workout for the day
Squat 3x8 325 up 10 lb - 2 reps (i tried 345 and could only get 4reps then i died so i had to drop it back down to 325)
Lunge with press 3x8 85 up 20 lb - 2 reps
Standing Ham curl 3x8 95 up 10 lb - 2 reps
DB bosu ball clean jerk 3x10 45 up 10 - 2 reps
bosu front squat 3x8 155 up 20 lb - 2 reps
Shurg/ stiff legged dead 3x8 185 up 30 - 2 reps
So all in all not bad. was hoping for a better gain on my squat, next time maybe a little jump instead of a 20 lb increase.
Also have gained 2 lb since last weight in

Hey guys, so its the end of week two... i havn't felt anything different from last week. The Great sleeps continue, and i have great energy throughout my workouts. I have gained another 3.5 lbs this week which is great. Thats a 7 lb difference in just two weeks.

one question.. what does the "20 lb increse - 2 reps" mean exactly? ur went up 20 pounds on ur 2 rep max?

Ya it seems to be working :). The up 20 lb -2 reps means i went up 20 lbs from last week but dropped 2 reps also... just to show i didnt gain 20 lb in a week but i gained some and dropped some reps aswell.
Todays workout was ****ty, really ****ty. I didnt have the best energy at all any my weights didnt go up at all. Prob because i worked late last night and didnt have much to eat. But my numbers are the same as last weeks chest... i need sleep so i will post them tomorrow after my workout.

Hey guys sorry for taking so long to update, iv been working a lot and im coming home really tired. This week has been ****ty for my weights, i havnt been able to go up in weight at all even though im dropping 2 reps. I could barely hit the numbers i did last week. So im going to take the rest of this week off, and look at my diet. Hopefully i can turn around my energy. And as far as next week for training its actually my week off, according to my program layout. I will keep posting on how im feeling throughout the week, and my weight gains. But there wont be any updates on my training.

Darcy, take protein shakes to work man. You put it in a plastic cup and put a lid on it and put it in a gym bag or something. Then you just take a break for like 10 minutes and consume an easy 600 calories. I use to take a few to work in the summer.

Iv been going hard for 3 mths and i thought it was time for a break. My energy is slowly coming back and im looking forward to hitting the weights hard again next week.

Thanks Dex i bought Iso Mass Xtreme Gainer and im taking that with milk to work every day for the extra cals. I also got progressives vege greens, and their phytoberry supp to help ensure im getting all my nutrients in. So we shall see how that helps me

Hey everyone, im back at it and i feel great. My strength has returned and my energy and focus is better than ever. Its been 1 month now and i have to say i like what i have seen. My weight has increased. Went from 178 to 185 in just a short month. My squat and bench have gone up 20+ lbs. I still have to do my measurements but i have had people comment on how big im getting which feels great.
My numbers for Monday's workout

Dips 3 50lb vest 8 reps (+50 lbs)
Flat Flys 3 6 50 (+5 lbs)

By the end of it my arms felt so jacked i couldn't move them. Best feeling iv felt in a long time.

Standing Ham curl 4x8 95 up (Did 1 more set)

My legs are killing me today, and i felt like i could do more after everything was done.
I have to get some pics done so i can post them up and show you my progress but as i said earlier people have been commenting on how big im getting so i am excited to see them myself. :)

awesome to hear that man! i cant wait to start my cycle..i just using the anabolic pump and powerfull tho.
right now im in "detox" mode lol if thats what you want to call it. i took off from lifting for a week and a half and im off creatine and no-xplode..just taking protein. i want to see how well this stuff works by itself. so far its been 2 weeks off everything but im gunna wait one more week then start

hey dude..you say you popped your shoulder out alot? i just got over my shoulder surgery for my torn labrum that happened from dislocating my shoulder. it sure is a bit**! anyway, does quat hurt your shoulder at all, you know, putting your arms back and having that weight on it?
but this log looks good, your plan looks good and reading it i think i might do the same stack sometime soon maybe the summer.

Ya im loving this stack. Its only been a month and iv gotten a lot of people commenting on how big im getting. As for my shoulder it did hurt for a while but as i kept on stretching and working on my rotators it got better. I was also taking super cissus and that has helped me a lot for pain and regaining strength in my ligaments. My friend had the same problem and i said take this stuff ad he loves it.

Hey everyone hows it going. Today i had the best F'ing chest day ever my bench went up 50lbs while only dropping 2 reps, and my incline went up 20 lbs. I was so pumped for the entire workout i could barely flex my bicep after everything. here are my numbers

looks pretty good...the only thing im concerned with is the rise in body fat...doesnt anabolic pump AND powerfull claim to burn fat?
