1. Have them remove all her teeth and prep for dentures.
2. Delay the extraction until 15th.
or
3. Talk the dentist into giving you some extra lidocaine to take home to numb the gums.

I recommend number 2.

Celbrate early on the 12th and then again as soon as she's better. Just watch for when she's eating solid food again, that's a sure sign ;)

Let me tell you a sad story.

When I got my wisdom teeth out, they apparently thrashed the hell out of my jaw, and it caused trismus (similar to lockjaw). I couldn't open my mouth more than half an inch for over a month.

Go for early or you might be waiting quite a while. :P

When you get home, give her the medication she will be given. She should be drowsy by the time the steaks are almost done.

Tell her to go lie down and you will finish the steaks and come get her.

Eat her steak.

Throw on ESPN for the night, and enjoy your steak.

When she asks why you didnt wake her up tell her that she looked so comfortable sleeping and that she really needed to rest.
