extremely nice gym kabuki.
kind of where we'd like Wild Iron to move towards when we have the space!
simply awesome.

after my next meet I'll be moving the buggy out that is sitting in the background so I can add some more equipment.

You pretty much made all the equipment there didn't you?
See you have a couple propane tanks. How cold does it get over there? I'll be moving my equipment out into my new garage I'm building pretty soon and it drops down under 0 a lot in the Winter and was think of different ways to heat up the place and not be to expensive.

i have not finished insulating yet. Its been down in the 20's for a few of the training sessions but the propane works pretty well to keep it warm enough.
Yes, i've made everything there.
Don't know what i'm going to build next when i move the buggy.

how did you construct the dl platform, is it just plywood with stall mat on top of it?

I would totally try benching out of that monolift if that was my gym.

correct. two pieces of 3/4 plywood with a stall mat on top. Works well.
The attachment points are recessed into the stall mat and bolted through to the back of the plywood. They are just trailer tie downs.

it works completely fine for that. I've done it a few times when the other two benches were being used and I wanted to move on to another bench movement. Like I said this monolift will drop all the way to the floor and still work.
i can setup 3 benches if needed.
Bench,
Squat Rack (i used this for years until the recent add of the comp bench)

Got to rep but didn't get to comment before.
Excellent setup. How many have you had working out in that space at once? We're starting to get an influx at the house with sports comming to a close for the season and people are already joking about putting in bleachers in the cardio room.
Really admire the ghr and reverse hyper by the way. Thanks alot for the video.

i've had a little bit of time doing fab work. The equip is childs play compared to the level of design and time spent building my competition Rock Crawler/Racer
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=570775&page=6
i've designed and built so much from complete scratch including Custom Unimog Axles, Central Tire Inflation, and 4 Wheel steering and Suspension geometry characteristics that are rarely ever seen.
Unfortunatly I have no time to work on it, but hope to finish in next couple years and start competing. Although I did buy a new set of 47" tires for it last week so that may motivate me again.

My training parter and I used to go out go out to Barstow and help a guy who was great at fab work. (He passed away a few years back.) Here some of his stuff. They used to drive the stage coach around in the desert. Was alot of fun.

my 3/4" stall mat was less than $50 at a farm supply place.

it is my garage. It would probably cost close to 20k to go buy all that stuff. I have not spent near that as I have bought my weights off craigslist and built all the equipment.
