A little history about me!
I was a fatso...lol..really though, all throughout middle school and most of high school, I was very inactive and ate boatloads of crap. My highest weight was in college and I was 200#. After graduating, I started to change my eating habits and to exercise a little. I went a bit too far and ended up with anorexia combined with overexercising. I luckily found this forum and started working with the great Emma-Leigh. I am proud to say that I have gone from 107# in July of 2006 to my current weight of 121.4#, as of this morning. I love lifting and I'll never go back to where I was!!!!

My routine is developed by Emma-Leigh, so I will only post my exercises in random order, along with the maximum weights used. I will not post my set/rep scheme. I lift 4-5 days a week, and right now, I am working on developing a good Vtaper.
Goals
*I am competing in my first figure contest in Oct of this year!!
*I want to gain 10 more pounds before summer
*I want a Vtaper!!!!

*I want to improve my bench and reach 100#
Diet
My nutrition is also designed by Emma, so I will only list macros at the end of each day. I am obviously bulking right now, so calories are fairly high :D

I'm doing well Barb! Anxious to train tomorrow and start the Refuel! It's smells so good...glacier grape goodness! :D
Went to the doc today. I've been having panic attacks. he wants me to take Paxil. Not sure...we'll see
I'm going to switch back to Xpand preworkout I think. For the refuel, I'm going to split a dose between during and post workout, so we'll see how that goes. Not too sore from yesterday. I LOVE being sore! I'm a glutton for pain!!!

Nutrition has been on target today. It was a rest day, but I'll be training legs and abs bright and early (5:30AM) I'll be starting the Refuel, so I'm anxious to get in and get going. We're supposed to get snow tonight, but that won't keep me away!! My husband stole my space in the garage though, so that means scraping at 4:30 AM...boo!!

Did legs this morning..my favorite!!!!
Preworkout supplement: Xpand: Didn't feel the same pump and my muscles didn't feel as big as compared to the Ragnarok, but I'm seeing if it might help w/ the anxiety attacks..none today! :D
Refuel: I split a dose between during my workout and after my workout w/ my shake
Comments:
Taste: I did NOT like the taste of the grape flavor!!! It honestly made me sick and I could only finish half of it during my workout.
I would like to see a strawberry or fruit punch type flavor..
Mixability: Mixed great! Not gritty at all!!!
Side effects: No bad side effects[/size]
Effects: No noticable energy or strength or endurance..but then again, I only had half!!! I will see how my DOMS is tomorrow. I will also mix it with crystal light tomorrow to see if that helps with the taste

Grape is a hard flavor for some reason. Xtend's isn't any better I'm sure. I did get used to it though and was thinking of re-ordering it, but think I'll go with Lemonade again. I'll see how you like the Refuel too. I've got time before I need to order.

I'm pretty sore this morning. I haven't been getting sore at all, so I'm wondering if the lack of Xtend yesterday is part of it. I didn't drink most of the Refuel yesterday though, so we'll see what happens today in the gym. I added Crystal light, so hopefully the taste will be better!

Took Xpand again this morning and I actually finished the refuel during the workout today b/c the crystal light helped w/ the taste. Had a great workout and got some nice comments from people at the gym and some mean stares from my old trainer..lol..I always smile and say hi and she grunts at me. I think she's mad b/c of how much progress I've made without her!!! :p Flirted a little with the cute guy..shame on me!!! lol

Solid workout today...higher reps, so weight isn't so impressive, but I concentrated and focused and felt a nice burn..Had a headache and was a little dizzy (sinus issues), but I pressed through it..

LEG PRESS CALF RAISE: 90#...owwwwwwwww
CHINUP LADDERS: did more sets this time and not as many reps per set to do more on my own...did 18 total and 6 total on my own..not in a row of course, but felt much stronger..big improvement!

Don't worry! I'm really liking this product!! I wanted to add that I've noticed a definite decrease in DOMS and I've been working harder than ever! My recovery time is much shorter...ready to lift legs again, but alas, tomorrow is rest day!

I take about 20g. during my workout and I have 10 g. with my post workout shake..

Bodyfat (omron athlete): 13.9...down 1% from last week, but that thing is crap...just going for a general trend...

Great workout today! Didn't raise the weights a lot, but focused on form and got a great burn!!! Also, I got a lot of compliments on my muscle gain. This huge bodybuilder asked me if I was doing the show in April! :eek: I was honored that he thought I would be ready by then!! lol He told me how glad he was to see that I wasn't killing myself w/ cardio all of the time...

bigbridrol - what is the recommended dosing for me? I am 100lbs more than twinnett.
Hey clown, It is recomended to use between 1-3 scoops a day. On non-training days, one scoop will be useful however, if I bought the tub, I would probably save it for workout days only to save money.
On training days it is recomended to drink about 2 scoops during the workout, as many loggers have experienced increased stamina and overall better recovery time.
You can also go to three scoops, however for the money, I beleive that is unnecessary.
Last thing, I received my Ragnarok sample, I can't wait to try it :)

Worked great today! Was a little fatigued at the beginning of my workout, but it really helped me power through. Just a little sore in the legs and chest from yesterday. Feels good though!

I'm trying Emis! Annoying when you have a bad workout. Feels like I've lost a day and an opportunity to grow!
Macros sucked today...we ate some Subway at 11, then I was stuck in clinics and stuck on the drive home with no food!!!! 6 hours of no eating makes Tara VERY unhappy!!! Was supposed to have 2800 calories today. Had to guess on the smoothie I had in the morning. It said it was 90 calories (made w/ splenda), but I got an extra protein booster added in...sodium through the roof from the Subway, but oh well!
Came to my parents to find that my cousin had dumped out all the stuff in my gym bag, threw it in a trash bag and proceeded to steal my gym clothes and bag! WTF??? I stormed over and demanded it back. I was kind of a bitch, but I was SO hungry! lol

One good workout will help fix a lot of the confidence stuff. Just remember to let it flow and come naturally. Don't try to "force" a great workout...
As for the cold thing, I commented on this a bit in the ZEUS Log, but mega-dosing Vitamin B Complex seemed to not only keep the same thing you're speaking of at a reasonable level (where I could still train), but also wiped it out completely in 4 days...

Rest day today for me. Feeling a little DOMS in the back and shoulders, which is cool b/c I NEVER get shoulder DOMS. Not a lot of soreness though, thanks to the Refuel, but just a nice reminder of a workout.

Noticed that I'm very thirsty during workouts while drinking the refuel. It's ok though. Just drink water too. Great energy today. Never could get the bar up for 85# on bench before and 90 today felt pretty easy. Squeezed out some extra reps too...No negative affects other than the thirst. Still helping with DOMS and the taste and mixability are great!

Went to the gym w/ Drew and helped him do legs...they were doing free bodyfat testing. They're not very good at it. Did the 3pt caliper test b/c they couldn't find the chart for the 7 point. They said Drew was 19 and they said I was 9! Ha! No way in hell am I 9%...they had like 3 other trainers do it, who got the same. I was like their little guinea pig. I figure I'm around 15% right now. Who knows? I'll just go by how I look.

REFUEL: Still quite thirsty this morning. Felt a lot stronger with the bicep exercises and chin ups this morning. Those are usually weak during this workout. Surprisingly, hamstrings are NOT sore from yesterday's workout. Chest feels nice and sore though, but not overly sore.

Had a semi cheat meal today..went to Outback and had my first steak(unfortunately, it was dry and tough) and some sauteed veggies
Macros today are minus the steak meal, which was around 800 calories..not too bad though..was supposed to have 2800 today..rest day tomorrow..getting my computer fixed and going to a movie w/ my brother, b/c I'm off school!!! :D

lol I really admire Stan McQuay's physique. He's pretty awesome. Taking it nice and slow and he got his IFBB pro card... And you can tell that there's no steroids there! :) Clean and a good example (I think) lol. I need to get to that level of physique... Cuz we all know I've super handsome already :D

I've been running around moving out of my classroom today..exhausted. I woke up at 3:30 this morning and couldn't sleep, so I decided to do an early morning workout. It was a good one! Only one more full body on Sat. until the 8 days of boredom..err..rest that is..
FULL BODY
LEG PRESS: 360#
SUMO DEADLIFT: 180#..PB!! (banged the bar against my shins on these and I have knots the size of softballs!)
PARTIAL SHOULDER PRESS: 77#...PB!!
HYPERS: 35#
CABLE ROWS TO FACE: #5 PLATE (1 more set at this weight)
INCLINE BB PRESS: 80#..PB!!
VBAR PD: 80#....grrrrr
TIME: 1:15
CALORIES: who knows? Stupid things turns off on overhead movements..probably around 400
Refuel really helped today. I'm starting to notice that I really DO need a break, but still managed good energy and a few PBs!
My mom says that my skin looks yellow. She has me all paranoid now that I have jaundice.

haha Peter... Nice Sumo lifts, great for the inner thighs! I like to mix up my deadlifts too... wide, narrow, shoulder width. Awesome stuff.

Bailey has these cuts on his legs from the snow and every time they look like they're healing, they reopen again..anybody know what we could put on them?
I'm trying to learn this dance from Disney's High School Musical..lol..I'm helping the middle school choir director w/ the musical this spring. It's fun, but this dance is HARD!! It's the one where they're playing basketball..I look like an idiot, following these step by step moves..I can't imagine adding a basketball to the whole thing!

Morning everyone!!! Rest day for me today! I did measurements and weight today. This is is the end of my 8 week session (1 more workout tomorrow) and the end of the DS challenge. I will take pictures tomorrow morning...the one I posted last night was from 2 weeks ago. I'll compare measurements to January 1st of this year
WEIGHT: 124.2..(up 5.8#)
BODYFAT: 14.6% (down .5)
NECK: 11..same
SHOULDERS: 38 (up 1")
CHEST: 29 (down .25)
WAIST: 25.75 ( up .5)
ABS: 28.5 (up .5)
BICEP: 9.75 ( up .5)
HIPS: 32.5 (same)
BUTT: 35.75 ( up .75)...SQUAT BUTT! :eek:
