This is my first post on this forum & it's more of a cry for help. My quandry is I've been workingout for about 23 years now & just recently I've been aquiring numerous amounts of pulled& strained muscles. Last week while having a chest workout I strained my chest (both pecs) just below my front delts. Today I pulled my left inner quad. I warmup approx. 5min before I start lifting on a cardio machine. I'm at a loss here. Am i overtraining? I'm only working out 4 times a week on different muscles. But i feel like I'm cautious in my form. Any advice is welcome.

Sounds like overtraining to me. I'd take at least a full week off, maybe two. As it gets warmer I'd start walking while your healing up. If that doesn't do it I'd see a doc. Also could just be mental fatigue, time off should help.

Could be overtraining. Also remember to add a sufficient warm up before you lift as well as a stretching routine. Daily stretching will help cut down on muscle strains.
As far as treatment, just remember RICE.
R = Rest Take a break from the activity that caused the strain
I = Ice 15-20 minutes at a time several times a day.
C = Compression Helps against swelling, ace bandages work well.
E = Elevation Also helps prevent excessive swelling.
