These are all pictures of me giving God the glory.
Now a little about my journey...
I am a college student currently in the last semester of my senior year. Since my degree is in Secondary Mathematics Education, I am currently student teaching full time. I am at the school, which is a 30 min. drive from where I live, and consequently where I train, from 8:00 to 4:00 Mon-Fri. I work from 8:00 to 4:00 on Saturday.
That being said this is what my training schedule looks like.
Monday- 6am: MMA specific cardio and Olympic Lifts (1hr total)
6pm: BJJ (1.5 hr) American Kickboxing (1.5 hr)
Tuesday- 6am: MMA specific cardio (45 min)
430: Lift (Pull)
6pm: Muy Thai (1.5 hr) BJJ (1.5 hr)
Wednesday- 6am: "Caveman" training (20 min)
6pm: American Kickboxing (1.5 hr) BJJ (1.5)
Thursday- 6am: MMA specific cardio and Olympic Lifts (1 hr)
6pm: BJJ (1.5 hr) Muy Thai (1.5 hr)
Friday- 430pm: Lift (push)
6pm: Sparring and MMA specific technique (2-3 hr)
Saturday-OFF
Sunday- 6am: "Caveman" training (20 min)
Finally,
I am currently training to fight in a Super Heavyweight(265+) tournament starting May 1. If I were to fight in the finals, that would be 3 fights in 3 days. The winner is crowned the RingRulers World Amateur SHW Champion.
I'm weighing about 300 lbs right now, after the holidays and my recent Honeymoon cruise, but my goal is to be around 250-260 the day of the fight and just wear my clothes to weigh in.
I will attempt to be faithful with Diet, MMA training, Cardio and Lifting updates.
Thank you and good night.

No, those are from each of my fights. I dont have the same hair or shorts in any of them... but then again you may not be able to see my shorts.
I haven't been able to post at all because my computer crashed. I'm at a different comp right now.
Just an update, My workouts pretty much followed the program I posted...except, I missed the morning workout on Wed. and Thurs. and My push workout yesterday. This week has been a little crazy. Hopefully I will have a computer soon and I can start a real log.

Good luck in the tournament! What olympic lifts are you doing btw?
Monday- PowerCleans; Hang Cleans; Dumbell Clean and press
And a movement called full contact twists where the barbell has 1 or 2 45's on one end and no weight on the other. Then I put the bare end in the corner of the room I'm lifting in and place both hands on the barbell and twist as if I'm throwing hooks.**This is very explosive**
Thursday- Power Snatch; Hang Snatch; Dumbell Snatch; Barbell twists

Bjj and Muy thai went okay, I didn't spar or roll, so nothing exciting happened.
I mainly worked closely with a couple of fighters that will be making their debut's on Saturday. I will be cornering them, so we worked on some strategy and some "worst case scenario" stuff.

The last few days have just blown by... I haven't even been my computer since last Thursday. I've spent the majority of my time helping my teammates get ready for their fights, which were yesterday... My training has been going good, but the diet still needs some work (and by work I mean discipline)...
I'll try to be more frequent with my log in the future.

My training camp starts today for the fights on May 1. I'm 8 weeks out. My goals remain the same and my discipline has returned and my focus is renewed. I'm completely fasting carbohydrates for the next 6 weeks and have been rock solid for the past week in that respect. My diet is planned out to the minute and my workouts remain almost exactly the same as I had them earlier.
I will be moving the lifting sessions on Tuesday and Friday from the evening to the morning and will be doing 20-25 minutes on the rowing machine after the weights.
My cardio will get shorter, but more intense and caveman training will once again be a staple. This time on Tuesday Morning and Friday afternoon. I brought the equipment up to the gym so the other fighters could join in on the festivities...
