not to sound retarded but how can i get wider ? what can i use in the gym to get wider like sylvester or arnold ?

That generally has to do with your bone structure. But my advice to muscularly looks wider is to do exercises involving mainly the Serratus Anterior and also the Deltoids. Besides focusing on those (which are used generally in bench presses) I don't really know what else you could do to look wider....

Hit your upper lats n delts heaps.
Thatll widen you up heaps.

Wide grip= Wider growth
soo...

For your delts, and upper shoulder width, mayve give your shoulders a devoted day for a while. Make your meat-n-potatoes exercise wide grip, barbell shoulder presses.
Treat it like bench, so go heavy and use a spotter if you can.


For your upper lats, pull towards you with a wide grip and your on the way.
Wide grip pullups are golden.

Heard of box chins?
lay under a fixed bar in a power rack or smith machine or whatever. Set the bar about 4 feet off the floor. Lay under it as though you were gonna bench it.
Prop your feet up on a 2-3 foot box/bench. Grip the bar wide, and pull your chest up to it, hold it, n return to just above the ground.
Do it for reps.

if you wanna appear wider, drop bodyfat.
When you carry even low bodyfat, what little is there is usually concentrated around your abdomen, and thickens your waist.
By dropping this fat, you get the epic thin waist/V taper...Makes you like a mile wide garunteed.

this isnt even true, those exercises will make you large, yes, but will contribute minimally to growth in your lats and medial delts, the muscles that give the illusion of a "wide" physique - a narrow waist also helps
