Alright, So I've been working out 3-4 times a week since the biggining of November 2008. I worked out in the basement very lathargically for a few months before that, but saw very little gains, and didn't expect much.
But since November, I've gained about 7 pounds. I've taken just over a week off since I was skiing, but tommorow I'll be back in the gym.
My routine has been a Three day split.
Chest/Shoulders/Triceps, Back/Biceps, Legs/Abs
But now I came across Starting Strength from Rippetoe and I think I could get a lot out of it if I train hard and eat well/lots.
Height: 6'0-6'1
Weight: 163 (used to be 155 or so)
Here are my stats so far, I've never really maxed out ever, but this is the most i've done.
Bench: 145x3
Squat: 135x5
DL: 135x8
I've done DB rows with 55's (3x8) , but never barbell.
Never done OH press, but I use 45's (3x8) with db OH press.
I don't think i've been pushing myself hard enough, so I'm confident that I can get these numbers up pretty fast.
Goals: Weigh 170 by the end of Febuary. Also, for exercise goals, do you put your Max goal? Or your Working Set goal?
As for supplements, I will take Whey Protein (23g /scoop) post workout.
I'm thinking of taking creatine monohydrate since I have it in my cupboard, from my bro, but I think I will wait a couple of months to see how my results go. Unless you guys think otherwise. I will try and update this a few times a week. I also eat as much as I can.
I will appreciate all nice comments and remarks.
