Hey everyone , i was curious to see if anybody has used these . I am looking for a new pair of straps since i lost my others ones (dammit) and these look interesting. If not then i will get the same straps but without the dowel thingy.
BB.com sells them , the link is from the schiek site , it shows it better what they are.

Those with the dowels look like they would work as well as versagrips at half the price.

learn to do it strapless, try mixed grip, or hook grip, and buy chalk

Yeah the versa grips looks pretty decent , i like that they are not long coming off the wrists. Makes it easier to wrap around .Going to look into these ones as an option.

Thanks Tim

I don't really use them for more weight but my grip slips when i get sweaty hands. Chalk could also be useful and i don't like regular gloves , i find they reduce my grip strength

they would surely make ur grip weaker because they make the diameter of the bar thicker

i advise you to use chalk, and a mixed grip, its crazy how much it helps

Great! What's the deal with the dowel? Can you explain what it's supposed to do, the advantages, etc.? Doesn't it press hard into your inner palm [and hurt like hell] when it's fully rolled in? Uh, and if you could, please sesquipedalize your answer a bit more than the post of yours I've quoted. Thanks.

the dowel make the wrap easy to wrap around the bar...and easier to hold after it is wrapped.

i also have regular wraps....they work 98% as well.

i also have hook grips...they work the best when your grip has failed.
