Well, basically I figured I needed something to keep me motivated to work out and get stronger, faster, and better. I'm playing baseball for my high school and I really want to improve my speed and strength. I'm 15 right now, and I think Starting Strength would be a good program for me, as I haven't really done a whole weightlifting program before - I don't go to the gym that often. I would like some advice on diet, though, I know I should be eating 5-6 meals a day, but is there any sort of specific plan somewhere on here that I can follow?

So here I go - I'm going to the gym today and I'll come back here and post my starting weights (following the instructions here: http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#The_First_Workout)

Alright, so I worked out yesterday and tested myself, stopping when the "bar speed slowed more than the preceding sets." Here's my results:

Squat - 115
Bench - 105
Deadlift - 125

Kind of weak, I know, but it'll get better.

I made a FitDay account and I think I did a good job on my diet today, so far. Working out again tomorrow & I'm excited.
