This has to be the craziest thing I've seen before

All of the young guys, don't go out and buy some bands, and do this. I noticed that TO does a lot of band training, and less free weights. This is becoming more of a new concept to older aging skill position players, thought it was kind of interesting.

That's what I was talking about. He doesn't lift free as much anymore, that's what I thought was interesting. TO has been more involved with band resisted exercises since his later years with the Eagles, and now with the Cowboys.

Yup. Also one leg training such as one leg squats and single leg DL are great ways to prevent injury because if you can strengthen each individual leg then you can deaccelerate more efficiently aka no injury. Plus hes already strong/fast.

No one said he doesn't lift free weights, but he has decreased his free lifts to focus more on band resistant exercises, and injury prevention mechanisms as his career, and age have progressed. This is nothing different, than most older NFL players, who do the same.. Just most focus more on LI/HV, BW lifts, and unethical variations (i.e. T.O.).

Ya, the pistol has become the supreme lift for aging athletes recently.

There's a lot of NFL players that don't seriously lift many weights.
Troy Polamlu has a unique way of training:

And Julius Peppers hardly does any weight training at all:
