I'm 29 and mother of a two year old girl, and I lost some weight. But still have alot more to loose. Right now all I really do is cardo, and just a tiny bit of weights.
Is there someone here who can help with some advice/suggestions on what else I can do. i would appreciate it.
what i eat is pretty easy, like milk with a apple and cereal.
meal 2 is just banana and water
meal 3 bowl of cereal.
I know i don't eat right, I'm 5'6" 198 lbs. Sometimes I dont eat don't have time..
would love some suggestions and help...

Hi Sara-ana! I'm 27 and mommy to a 2 month old, so I understand about being too busy to eat right. I also have eaten much like you are at many times during my life, but I am learning that my nutrition is at least half the battle. I'm totally new at this, and I refuse to give you specific advice, but I would investigate a healthy nutrition plan that you can work into your schedule. Keep posting too, I know that when I have the support of others in situations similar to mine I tend to do better and feel better about whatever it is I'm trying to accomplish. GOOD LUCK!!

Sara, honey...you need help with that diet girl! It is the pits. :(
I would not even suggest you start weight training until you start getting proper nutrition.
You need to eat 5-6x day small meals that consist of a palm size protein such as tuna, eggwhites, chicken, low fat cheese. Add a complex carb such as veggies.
If you are too nuts for a meal, have a nutrition bar or shake. (just check labels carefully)
Don't say you don't have time. We all have the same 24hours in a day. Find the time to eat...it does not take that long.
Don't worry about calories and macronutient ratios right now. Keep it simple till you feel more comfortable.
Good luck and keep asking questions if you need to. You will get plenty of support here to help you reach your goals. :)

Well, there is a couple of questions I would like to ask, What kind of nutrition bar or shake is best? What about food with spices?

Spice up your foods! Keep it somewhat interesting. Just watch some marinades and sauces that might contain alot of sugars.
You will learn to check labels alot from now on. :)
I hate shakes....so I am the worse to ask. But Myoplex is a good one....both their shakes and bars.
I am addicted to Detour bars...but they are probably just like a glorified candy bar posing as a protein bar. But I make amends anyway. :)
Do a search on here too and you can get alot of different opinions on what people like and dislike before you buy.

Myoplex Lite is a pretty good shake. :)
You definitely need to eat more. Your body is probably holding on to everything it can because it's in starvation mode. Eat 5 to 6 times a day with a protein & carb in each meal. Do complex carbs (oatmeal, whole grain bread, brown rice) up to about 2:00 to 3:00 each afternoon (along with veggies also) and then switch to just fibrous carbs later in the day with your protein. You can always bake chicken, cook frozen veggies, brown rice in advance & just have a supply in your fridge that lasts a few days each time.
Drink plenty of water.
Plus, you can spice up your food with spices -- I use them all the time -- just don't go overboard on sodium.
Finally, lift weights. I did aerobics forever with no changes until I started lifting. Even if you can't get out of the house, get some dumbbells. Just make yourself do it! Also, do the cardiovascular exercise too. :) Getting your body to where you want it to be involves a healthy diet, weight training & cardiovascular exercise.
Good luck!! :)

GNC is a big supplier of EAS products (makers of myoplex).
You can sometimes find it also at Walmart for cheaper...but choices are limited there.

Sara...if you do buy...just get one thing at a time. Don't go getting cases of anything.
I have a kitchen cabinet full of shake mixes that I hate. And many bars have gotten tossed after one bite.
Plus if you find something that you really love and you want more...you can get the products online for much cheaper.
Enjoy your shopping! :)

Well, I didn't go shopping, I was called into work. I started writing a journal and everything for my workout, and my diet.
I'm doing Cardio 5 x's a week, plus weights. I'm also doing squats. Is there anything I'm missing?

Sara....you sound like you are ready girl!
You should go to Fitday.com and keep track of your diet there. The best thing to do is plan for the next day.....put down everything you are going to eat. You will find out how many calories, proteins, carbs and fats that you will be taking in.
You might be surprised to find that you are way off on what you may have thought. Try for a 40/40/20 ratio for now. (proteins/carbs/fats) Start around 1800cal/day
And then print it out. That is your diet for the day.
Do this for awhile till you get used to this new way of eating.
Good luck! :)
