Not sure if there's a specif manufacturer or not to recommend here but any suggestions on which belt to purchase to protect you when doing deadlifts?

Thanks in advance.

You may laugh but I absolutely love this thing from Nike:

Now when I'm using a belt for real heavy squats/deadlifts I use the Valeo belt.....it's alot tougher but not too comfortable IMO. I just don't see the point in wearing a serious weight lifting belt for when I'm doing my lighter workouts but I do like to have some support regardless....that's why the Nike belt is cool to me it gives me just the right amount of support.

.....but like I said if your not doing any serious lifting weight wise the one made by Nike is a great belt. It's so comfortable I forget I'm even wearing it. Just my 2 cents.

I've used a lot of different belts over the years, but I must say that Scheik makes some of the best belts I have ever used.

I've had a Cardillo belt for 15 years. I'll never wear it out. They're not cheap, but then nothing with any quality ever is. BTW, the last time I looked, the BB.com store sold them.
