Background:
Ok so after quiting playing wow realizing how iv waste my life hooked on pc game i decide to make a change in my life and look from something else to take up my time so i have made my mind up to start weight training.

Age: 20
Height: 5'8
Weight: 164
Body Fat: no idea really guessing 25%-30%
Waist: 34
Hips: 38.5
Arms: 12
Thighs: 22

Goals:
Join the 1000lb club by 2010
drop to below 15% body fat and be 184 pounds +

Training:

Workout 1
Bench press 5x5
Incline Bench press 5x5
Military press 5x5
Dips 5x5
Crunches 3x25
Leg raise 3x15

Workout 2
Squat 5x5
Deadlift 5x5
Barbell row 5x5
Chins 5x5
Crunches 3x25
Leg raise 3x15

Monday: Workout 1
Tuesday: Workout 2
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Workout 1
Friday: Workout 2
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off

Diet:
I am aiming to get 240g of protein a day and about 300 carbs
Protein shake ( 50g protein 75g carb 8g fat)
4 whole eggs+toast(24g protein 30 carb 20g fat)
Protein shake (50g protein 75g carb 8 fat)
Chicken+pasta (35g protein 55g carb 1g fat)
Fish+pasta (35g protein 55g carb 1g fat)
3 pints of milk (45g protein 45g carb)

I am also taking creatine, cod liver oil and multi vit.

I will try and get some pictures over the next couple of days.
The main point of this log is to keep myself motivated.

first of all, just wanna say good luck! those look some some tough goals, but with dedication you can do it.

i think 240 grams of protein a day will be far more than enough. most people say that you should aim for 1 gram per pound of bodyweight. honestly, you could probably cut out some of the shakes and save some money and still be fine. but it's up to you, of course.

your workout looks decent, but i think there is a lot of room improvement. it's good that you got the squats and deads, but i don't think you'll see the best gains you can. a lot of people on here say ripptoes (spelling?) is the best program for beginners. personally, i have never tried it, but i hear people get good results from it. i just did a three day a week full body workout and it worked out well for me. good luck!
