All a linemen does in the game is battle against another player play after play after play...what do you expect if your playing for 4 years for highschool having pre season practices, practice, games, and playoffs.

saying you wear the helmet 5 times a week, 10 weeks = 50 times a season 4 years = 200 times the helmet could be worn.

Lets average 2 hours of practice/game/whatever time when wearing the helmet = 400 hours of that helmet being banged up. Hence the damage!

Not the most accurate of statements just trying to make a point though. and as a linemen myself i know i throw some nice headbutts into other linemen, so my helmet is ****ed up a lot as well, but i have never wore the same helmet for the 4 years i played with my high school i always got a new one to start fresh ;)

im not claiming to be some d1 talent....
im not even planning on playing college ball... ive talked to recruits from some d1aa (princeton and yale) and d2 but ive told them i have no intentions on playing college ball....
im only like 5'10-5'11, so that eliminates any chance of playing d1 anyways

but in serious terms, i think theyre is a mechanical advantage of being slightly shorter than average, for leverage and it is easier 2 pack mass onto a shorter frame

the marks on the paint look legit to me, but the facemask not so much. it looks like the rubber on the facemask was half peeled off half legit hitting.

Not that I care anymore, I quit football.

Rugby baby. A season of rugby will make you forget a lifetime of football. Its more fun and the brotherhood-unity is world-wide. Don't get me wrong I miss football to death and I was cut out for it for a few years but rugby just changed my faith. Rugby is the type of game that all across the world you can mash opponents faces in and afterwards have them over for dinner and shake their hand for a good match. Nothin' like it.
