Anyway, yesterday this is what i did, kind of a lulz day:
Went and tailgated with some mother****ers with the fraternity im thinking about rushing. I walked up there and apparently i look like one of their alums who graduated 2 years ago, cuz some brother comes up to me and goes "oh JP whats up man can i get you a beer" and im like "hell yeah, mother ****er" so im sitting there enjoying the fratmosphere sipping on my busch light, when the real JP shows up.
**** was about to get real as ****, but i was like "oh **** man i guess we do look a like" and we just laughed it off. I started talking to this JP guy about the ballin ass business trip he took to hong kong, ****s a pretty sweet hook up only 2 years out of college. Talked with some other brothers about pledging and **** and theyre like "yeah man we could definitely see you being part of this fraternity" and i was like "yeah cool bro"
We went into the game, JP got kicked out cuz he tried to bring in a mini flask rofl. The game was crowded as ****, everyone wants to see our schools team play cuz we normally run **** against all these other pussy ***got schools.
We were sitting on some grass hill, and some ugly fat bitch is in front of me, bitching about how some sorority girl is trying to get her to go to rush ****. Shes like "how do i tell her a sorority isnt for me??" and i was like "wow i dont think a sorority is for you either HAHA"
Anyway, we left in the 2nd half cuz we were getting hungry as ****, me and some brothers stopped by hardees, i was drunk as **** at this point. I go in and order ****ing burger and some bacon ranch fries, and try to pay with my student ID card for the cafeteria. The dumbass hardees employee was like "um sir we dont take this" and i was like "what the ****, theres like $500 ****ing dollars on that card, SIR" he was like "ok, but our machine cant process this" and i was like "whatever bitch" and gave him a ****ing $20.
So we went back to the frat house, watched some football and got even more drunk. Passed out on their ****ing sofa and woke up at 11 PM with a huge hang over. Got some brother to drive me back to my place, and thats where i am now. Rofl.

0x405* grip failed, slippery bars, no straps, we arent allowed to bring chalk into my ****ty college gym. But it flew off the floor pretty quickly, im pretty sure strapped i could still get it.
Thats all i did, because at this point a fraternity brother called me to get me to frame a sign for him that said "EASY DZ" (DZ=sorority) lulz.
Will maybe try this again with straps sometime.

Im done pledging, so i now have the time to eat better and lift. I dont know how my progress will compare to what i had over the summer, when i never went out and partied and had all the free time/money to do nothing but eat and lift.
Current Stats (guessing)
Weight: 165
Bodyfat: 12%
Bench: 205
Squat: 225? Havent squatted in months
Deadlift: 365
So yeah, a major step back, im weaker/smaller than i was a year ago. That being said, pledging was the hardest, most memorable thing ill ever do in my life, and i dont regret it for a second. Hopefully muscle memory can put me back to a decent strength level fairly quickly.
Ill be hitting the gym later today, I still dont know exactly what routine ill follow because i dont know what my schedule is going to be. Most likely ill follow my old westside based routine but do a less conjugated version (focus on the main lifts more instead of doing variations) because my progress should be fairly good.

Lockout has always been my weak point. Somehow i can have huge rackpull numbers (did 600 2 inches above the knee this summer) and strong lats/traps, but have always struggled to lockout my deads.

bc you're not using the same form on rackpulls as you do off the floor, you probably use a more efficient form when doing rackpulls. you should try pulling off blocks, moar natural.

Should have just made it an off day, my entire body was sore and my recovery sucks now, I still have chest/shoulder DOMS from monday. Today was actually supposed to be a SQUAT day but my lower back was too sore from deads.

Alright, i plan on doing things a little differently in my training from now on. With the amount i go out now i doubt ill be able to become teh elite powerlifter i wanted to be previously. That being said, i still want to be a strong ass mother****er. This means rather than worrying so much about 1 RM's in my training like i did previously, im going to try and have a better endurance base with a given weight. I also want to look better than i did before and get stronger by actually gaining muscle rather than just training my CNS with 1RMs and eating in a caloric surplus.
For example, previously if my sticking point on bench was at lockout i would have just done a lot of 1 rep rack lockouts or something. While this might train your CNS, it really isnt going to do a whole lot for building tricep muscle. Therefore in my new training, i would just try to add tricep muscle by doing skull crushers, OH DB extensions, close grip bench, ect. Im not going to start on this now because i need to get the basic movements down first and remind my body of what they feel like.
That being said, my goals for this summer are:
10x225 bench
8x405 deadlift
8x275 squat (or higher, may have to see how this one goes)
No idea if these are achievable or not. Well have to see how far muscle memory can take me. These goals put me at a estimated 1 RM that is slightly over my old 1 RMs, so if i can do these i should be able to get my old 1 RMs easily.

I have no idea where this is going though. Thats roughly 100 lbs to add to bench and 120 to deads in 6 months. Of course thats achievable but i cant devote myself to training like i used to be able to. Also, all those ****ing gains i made from march-august last year were pretty much all done with PHs. Not saying i didnt work/eat my ass off, but its been a while since i made natty gains.

Yep, i have a feeling i can hit 225 on bench and 405 on deads pretty soon. Dunno why. ATM im in florida for thanksgiving, able to eat all the ****ing food i want, but no access to a gym. Kind of pisses me off, i really feel like lifting.

Tried to lift yesterday since exams are pretty much done. Went to a gym on campus at 8 or so that is supposed to close at 9, closed early. So i said **** it, ill go to the larger, gayer gym on campus later when its not so crowded. Went around 11 or so, its supposed to close at 12. Closed early. ****.
Going to lift today instead although im pretty tired.
Found out i got a D in business stats lol, pretty gay. I had an A or a B in all my other classes.

No access to a gym ATM, so i have to make do with the weight set i have at home. (160 lbs on a standard bar, bench, lat pulldown thing). I cant really do bench or deadlifts with it since 160 lbs isnt really enough weight to do anything but tone. And theres really no way to set up for squats.

Edit: Weight also at 170, happy about that since i barely ate or slept during exam week and the week before that. Im going to try to get up to 180 by the end of break.
2nd Edit: All these weights are assuming my bar weighs 15 lbs. Maybe it weighs more and i dun realize it.

Idk, theres a couple gyms i could lift at but theres something about each one that makes it hard to get into.
Gym 1- Commercial gym, decent, never been a member but i have to pay to go to it, and im totally broke ATM. Its also kind of far away.
Gym 2- Commercial gym, where ive lifted at for the past 2 years (when im not at college). I can sneak in by walking in, scanning my expired card, then having my friend scan his card right afterwards so they cant see it says "expired". But my friend is a bitch ***got, and i pretty much have to lift when he does. Half the time i ask him to lift he says "lifted yesterday" or "with gf today". ***got.
Gym 3- Old High School gym, good memories and has everything i need. But idk when its open, have to get in touch with someone who can unlock it for me, which is always hard.
Hopefully ill get to start going to 2 or 3 sometime soon.
