Back on the Weights !

http://www.macombcountymi.gov/Publichealth/PanFlu/images/Closed%20Sign.jpg

Until I get there, CLOSED early until after the New Year ! So I'm not happy :( Carbed up & took my superpump250 for no reason, what a waste !! Atleast the sauna was open not a total waste of journey :p

Because I haven't wrote out todays training or diet, feel free to ask any questions you have !

What kind of routine are you going to be starting?

I don't follow a certain routine, I love doing my own thing because I can read my own body and know what responds well to me ! All my training is designed for Muscle Hypertrophy, its based on intense heavy lifting because I seem to respond very well under alot of stress :)

Some people think I overtrain but everyone's different, some it would work well with and some won't be able to handle it :p

* Heres an example, tonight I would have done chest and triceps, would have had a meal 60 - 90mins before, usually a mixed brown rice (Added Peas & onion) with chicken breast or lean minced beef and a tomato sauce & superpump250/no xplode 30mins before.

*5min warm up.

Chest:
*Probably gotten a bit stronger now after this weeks rest hopefully :p

Flat Bench:

132lb x 10
198lb x 8
242lb x 6

Incline Dumbbell Press:

55lb x 10
66lb x 8
88lb x 8

Pec-deck Flyes:

110lb x 12
140lb x 10
170lb x 8

& Triceps

Rope Pressdowns (three sets)
Incline Cable Lying Tricep Extensions (four sets)
One-Arm Reverse-Grip Pressdown (three sets)

My latest quote, think this is awesome for all you trainers !

"When you live for a strong purpose, then hard work isn't an option. It's a necessity ! Unless you are willing to drench yourself in your work beyond the capacity of the average man, you are just not cut out for positions at the top" - A True Quote, for a True Bodybuilder !

You've really got to stop focusing on chest and abs so much. You have great chest structure so I doubt it needs much emphasis.

Start working more on your back, arms, delts, etc.

Haa,

when I get my Serge Nubret Chest then I'll stop focusing as much :D Nah what I'm planing on doing is just train even harder and focus on all my muscle parts to get the rest of my body as up to standard :)

Do you flex your abs in pics?

Lol, you've asked me this about three times now ! Like I said my abs are usually pretty visual anyway, I all depends on the pose. Those two pictures I just posted are pretty relaxed.

In that pic you can see I'm flexing my abs, see the difference ? lol

Ok re-resubbed

Sorry for messing you about SB ! :p I'll still be adding to the other one for my older readers :)

Hey I've cooled down abit lately, getting soft :( lol

But my usual routine is,

Hanging leg raised 3 x 12
Decline Crunches 3 x 20
Weighted side bends 2 x 30

Back & Biceps!

Pre workout, soup with potatoes, carrot & steak pieces 60mins before and superpump250 (1 scoop) 30mins before.

http://i40.tinypic.com/2nhgjts.jpg

I tried something new today, I need a wider, thicker back ! Usually I've been training heavy on a fixed-arm lat pulldown machine, single-arm machine rows and back extensions to build mass but I haven't made enough progress imo, so I changed it to this:

Back:

Wide-Grip Pull Ups:
*Body weight, slow and controlled.

2 x 12
1 x 10
1 x 6

T-Bar Rows:
*The weight was fairly light, was mainly concentrating on getting my form perfect today.

55lb x 12
77lb x 12
88lb x 10

Single-Arm Machine Rows:
*Per arm

77lb x 10
88lb x 10

Weighted Back Extensions:
*22lb plate in arms

3 x 15

Biceps

Close-Grip Preacher Curls:

55lb x 10
77lb x 8
77lb x 6

Dumbbell Curls:

33lb x 10
38lb x 8
44lb x 8 (More like Drag Curls at this point :p)

Hammer Curls:

38lb x 10
44 x 8
44 x 5

Overall I was disappointed with the workout, I found the I didn't hit my back hard enough, so next week I'll defiantly be changing a few things !

Happy New Year !

I've gotta take back what I said about yesterdays workout, the areas I was trying to target are pretty sore today, so I'm happy ! :)

Just going to take it easy today and recover from new years eve, time to clean up my diet & get back on track. Good luck on your New Year Goals Guys !

Legs Day !
http://nicbri.addr.com/BIG_LEGS_FRONT.jpg

Atm my legs are lacking everything :( I need more mass and more detail, my goal for this spring is to add mass to my outer quads and tear muscles !

Legs:

Leg Press:
*At the end of each rep, squeeze out until only your heals are on the press.

308lb x 15
529lb x 12
573lb x 10
529lb x 8

Leg Extensions:
Fairly slow & controlled

110lb x 15
130lb x 15
170lb x 8
150lb x 8

Smith machine ATG-Squats:

88lb x 12
176lb x 6

Hamstring Curls:

3 x 12 - 15

Seated calve raises:

3 x 15 - 20

Then Limped on home . . . :p

Coming along mate!
Strong chest and abs as ever
IMO main things to work on are traps, bis and tris

I would prioritize the triceps over the biceps. Biceps looked OK in the first pic.

I don't even notice this 'weird' shape you speak of, and yeah work tri's hard as arms do consist mostly of tricep lol
