I'm not sure.

The ATF have it.

It felt like a janky piece of crap. I would never purchase a hi-point again.

Next purchase was a mossberg 500, still have it, still love it.

I wish that was the first gun I bought, but is in fact the last one I sold. It was my first CCW. Awesome single action trigger pull and not too shabby in DA in my opinion. Plus I could operate the decocker and mag release well with my index finger being a lefty.

That's a bummer, I had been seeing a hi-power in perfect condition sitting at the local gander mountain for months for 625.00 just calling my name....seemed a little salty and now it's gone :(

I love the look of all the cz's, they just fit odd in my hand otherwise I would be looking for one too.

It's more the angle of dovetail that bothers me with the cz's, same with colt 1911s.

Yeah it was high, that's why I kept waiting around to see if there would be a drop, but apparently someone wanted it bad enough.

good news is that the Polizei switched over to the Hk P9 in the late 90's/early 2000s, so the P6's are on surplus sale now. they're an absolute steal. fantastic pistols.

It might not be the lightest pistol on the market, but it is most definitely not in the realm of heavy. Its a very intuitive pistol. Very comfortable to hold and fire. I really like that DA is the only safety feature on it as if you can't keep your dirty little fingers clear of the trigger or you carry it cocked you probably shouldn't be carrying a pistol in the first place. The DA is kinda heavy since it's DA but it's smooth and consistent with a clean break.

Absolutely a roc solid pistol,ESPECIALLY for the price (I think it's gone up to somewhere around $375). You're getting the granite hardness and reliability of SigSauer for less than $400!!!

*edit* also own

Even I don't talk about everything I have, even though it's hard to resist showing off a new acquisition :)

CVA 1861 Colt Navy kit, when I was 14. Bought it at Service Merchandise.

I blued it and assembled it myself. It wasn't perfect, but I was a kid and I learned a lot about guns, especially since it was black powder, which was a pain in the ass. You had to put primer caps on the nipples, measure the Pyrodex black powder, and wedge the ball in for every shot.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/ff/Colt_M1860_Navy_Revolver_Reproduction.JPG/300px-Colt_M1860_Navy_Revolver_Reproduction.JPG

I actually still have it at my parents' house somewhere. I had to reblue it and restain the grips a few times, and it's pretty pitted from all that corrosive powder (I didn't know about cleaning guns after shooting them), but I'm glad it was the first gun I ever bought myself.

I don't know if they still sell these. Back in those days you could buy these off the shelf at any department store, since they were kits. And I was a kid buying it with lawn cutting money! I also remember buying the powder and accessories myself. Good times.
