What do yall take for training or for your fights? Im getting back into BJJ, and at the moment im just taking creatine mono and a whey shake and fish oil, but im looking into getting some supp that helps me focus better so i can absorb more info and learn more. I also have a really weak heart, and i often get completely winded by the end of training. Is there a supp that is solely made for cardio training?
I know that the only way to improve cardio for rolling is by lots and lots of practice, but in the past even after a year of training hard, i still get winded easily. im against alot of supplements, but is there something made especially to improve cardiac performance to help you fight longer?
thanks for help brahs, and yea i know im in the red, some mod negged me for giving out reps

I might start taking Whey again soon. Multi's ftw.
Other than that, nothing.
Supps wont help ur cardio. You're prolly one of those people who sit in class and spar once or twice then stop.
Keep sparring long and hard. Eat lots. Breathe right. Drink plenty.

Why not do cardio on the side? Get on a bike or stairmaster 3 times a week. You won't get winded as easily in anything you do.
At 19, really all I would go with is a good Whey Protein, a good multi, and maybe some BCAAs and Fishoil.
other than that, you should be fine in my opinion. I'm not a big suppliment guy as from what I've seen, most aren't worth a crap.
If you were older, I would say you may want to start on some joint supplements...but unless you have problems with them, you shouldn't really need that at this point.

Not to flame, but...a supplement to help you focus on learning BJJ? A supplement to give you good cardio?? How about dedication and hard work?
Good God, what's with this "there's gotta be an easier way" attitude of the modern generation?!
*deep breaths, deep breaths*
I would just take whey protein and a multivitamin if I were you. You are young and in the right place to improve--the rest is up to you.

Guess next time I'll read the whole post...I didn't catch that part and in all honesty, probably wouldn't have responded if I did.

Look up the definition of "supplement".
Eat, train, rest. That is all that is needed. If you're not getting enough of what you need from food, then you can "supplement" with basics. Whey, BCAAs, fish oil, etc. There is no magical pill/shake that will help you excell in BJJ or have endless cardio efficiency. The best thing to do is keep training. I'm not trying to make light of your condition but for many people their mind quits long before their body does. Push yourself as far and as long as you can (assuming it's physically healthy to do so). If you get to a point where you really can't go any longer, sit out for a minute or two. Then jump back in and start rolling again. If you must take small breaks now and then, do so. But don't completely end your training just because you are winded.
Have you seen a doctor for a check up? Are you diagnosed with a particular condition?

I wasted god knows how much money on supplements when I was younger.
It's amazing what cleaning up your diet can do. It seriously is.
