I have decided that im going to get off my lazy ass and start gymming again (its been 6 months guys and i have put on alot)

Since my gym is a little far and its a good enough excuse for me to not go, I have a solution. I am going to buy some weights to do at home.

I've always been doing classes so can I get a little help please..

what size weights should i buy?

is it okay to lift in the mornings?

this is the parts of my body i will do on a specific day:

Mon: Back & Chest
Tues: Cardio
Wed: Biceps, triceps, & deltoids
Thurs: Cardio
Fri: Quads, hams, & calves
Sat: Rest
Sun: Rest

what sort of exercises should I do tho? Anywhere you could refer me to?

all help is appreciated

I'd refer you to Craigslist to buy your equipment. You'll get more for your money there than at the sporting goods store.

This looks like a good program!!...the weight you should buy is what you can liftdepending of your strenght, it's different for everybody! You should be able to do between 8-15 reps, and you should be REALLY feeling it at about the 8th and 12th rep!You will also want to buy many diffenrent weight because so body part can lift heavier than other! If your looking for fat loss, I suggest you to add a day of cardio in your schedule!!

Hope it helps!! XxX Have a nice training!!

If you can find them, adjustable dumbbells like PowerBlocks or SeletTech are the way to go. I bought a set of PowerBlocks that go from five to fifty-five pounds on craigslist for $100.

Have you tried the egg beaters in the carton? Or do you not like eggs at all?

Yeah egg beaters rocks!!! I love them so much!!

By the way, for fitness equipment, all the "multigym" machine from BOWFLEX are awesome!!...ok that's a bit expensive but it really worth it!!! It combines all the main machine from the gym in only one little station!!

I absolutely love my bowtech adjustable dumbbells. I have the ones that range from 5 - 52.5 lb. It is easy to change the amount of weight, and the handles are comfortable. One advantage of dumbbells over a machine (which are good too) is that the dumbbells allow you to be creative with your workouts and inject more variety. However, activity is important so go with what you with stick with! Good luck!
