What's Been up With LD?

This has been a pretty hectic year for me. After winning first places in the men's open lightweights in my first NGA competition, I moved to Seattle to pursue personal training opportunities. The move did not live up to my expectations, so I moved back home to Idaho to finish college over the next few years.

I really let myself go this summer after July. I ate whatever I wanted for a few months, and did a little drinking here and there. School started at the end of August, so I finally :D began a workout regimen again in October and started using the stack that MusclePharm sent me. My head was just not in the books yet, so I dropped my fall semester and began to train seriously again.

This is where this log will differ from my past ones-I've already finished the stack and my workouts! I have taken notes on the products, my weight, and the workouts, so I will be adding one update a day for each workout until this log is finished. I know what happened, but you guys will have to stay tuned...

*Starting Stats

Body Type - ecto/meso
Height - 5"8
Weight - 159 lbs
Bodyfat-12%

Goals for this Log

I would like to put 5-6 pounds of quality mass back onto my frame, and get maintain bodyfat or possibly lower it to close to 10%. I want to build strength back up, and have good rest and quality workouts.

I will be training slightly differently this time around, going strict 2 minute rest times with a stopwatch. After evaluation, it seems I was actually resting close to 3-3 1/2 minutes between sets previously, so I know it will be a challenge keeping my rest times shorter.

So this is a past recap of your stack already? Confused

I have already used the stack for about 5 weeks, but i had to take notes since my computer was broken. I am treating this like any other log I've done, and will update each workout daily. I took before and after pics as well, and will be adding the "befores" on Monday with my first workout entry, and will post my "afters" at the end of this log. It will run for about 5 weeks.

Sounds good man, only thing I would say is maybe post 2 workouts a day instead of one so the feedback can get out there :D Nothing wrong with taking a lil pencil and pad log either, how I used to do it when I was like 16 haha.

Before Pics

These were taken on October 1. I have lost some of the cuts I had this spring, and am looking and feeling pretty flat. Hence the smirk. I didn't feel like taking any other poses because of how I looked, but you should be able to see the changes by the end with these 2.

Initial thoughts and first couple workouts to come tonight.

Initial Thoughts

Assault

I mixed with water as per the directions and stirred with a spoon for about 20-30 seconds.

Mixability - 8/10 - Although the powder appears super-fine in the container, it does tend to clump at first and even continues after some stirring. Liquid remains an opaque blue, and all powder never completely dissolves. Not a big deal.

Taste - 8.5/10 - A little on the sweet side, it doesn't necessarily taste like "arctic blue razz," but pleasant enough to drink.

Bullet Proof

Mixability - 8.2/10 - Very similar in mixing to Assault, but slightly better. It turns a pinkish color when mixed. Slightly "grainy" to drink.

Taste - 8/10 - It almost has a slight "saltiness" to it, and a mild grape taste. Not bad though. Good in its own way.
