idk about you guys but this fight isnt something im going to make sure i go out and watch live...rather read about it here and watch the vid on youtube

It will depend on what other fights are on the card for me, but most likely I would end up getting it.

Not a good matchup for Randy, IMO. Chuck will sprawl out of his takedown attempts and knock him out.
yeah I mean really I watch every card 99% of the time anyway. But this fight doesn't hold any big special appeal to me. Randy is KO'able.. Chuck will probably KO him. And they alerady had the rubber match, what more is there to prove?
And if Randy wins, what does that mean? Go for best out of 5?
I'd rather see Chuck step up his game and fight some new competition in his remaining MMA days.
Sidenote: Randy shouldn't be fighting HW at 220lbs anyway. You'd think he would've put on a few lbs of muscle in his year off thinking he'd be facing Fedor.

Tim Sylvia is fat, unathletic, weak, and slow. Arlovski is a physical specimen.
Matt Hughes is too old and all he does is Lay and Pray.

arlovski vs. syvlia 4 might be more competitive though since the 3rd fight was close (and boring as fu<k to watch)
where as with hughes vs. GSP, or randy vs. chuck (randy, and hughes lost decisively)
it is pretty stupid to have guys fight each other 4 times though lol i mean if randy wins its even do we now have randy vs. chuck 5 ???

MMA is a pendulum sport it seems. Either you suck or you're god.. agreed.
I do honestly see Chuck vs. Randy 4 going the same as 2 and 3 though.
Not saying Couture is washed and has no chance up but Chuck does best against fighters like Randy.. So who knows.

At least to be fair this will be the first time a lot of North American fans have seen them fight. Lots of MMA noobs never saw Pride :D

Good point. Fickle is the go-to-move of MMA spectatorship.
I guess their plan is to have Randy as the Ambassador to Germany (since it will be the first UFC in Germany and Randy speaks German apparently).
Makes sense from that angle, but quite honestly I have very little interest in watching this match-up again. If Zuffa really wants to impress fans in that region they should bring in someone like Cro Cop or Arlovski.
(Yeah I know Cro Cop & Arlovski are on opposite ends of the HW spectrum right now but big named fighter's from Central/Eastern Europe would go over quite well in Germay I'm sure, and before you say they wouldn't come back or Dana doesn't want them back just think about it, it's happened before and it will happen again.)

Ibarra f*cked up his training, I believe, as well. Not saying Shogun isn't the f*cking man, but I don't think Jackson was ready for that fight, which is why he f*cked up his ribs in the first round.

He must not have thought much of Shogun. He always talked about him being Wand's "cronie" which I guess would lead him to believe that he wasn't as tough a fight as Wand. Going in against prime Shogun is not the time to be changing up your fighting style.

I think Wandy is one of the coolest dudes in the sport but Page was spanking him on the ground and got stood up. They loved Wandy in Japan. It was a very close fight the second time up until then big right hand and knees. I think Page will take this one.

I dunno, I think Chuck has fight left in him. He just needs to sharpen up his game. And really, it's not his fault per say because it worked so long why change it? But now guys have figured him out so he needs to evolve or he's done. That's the name of the game. Point is he could still contend at 205 if he diversifies his fighting style. Same as Randy, as such I see no reason for them to fight each other.
that's not to say I won't get the show though :D
