recently i've been having pain on the right side of my right forearm and all throughout my right elbow. i'm not sure it could have been caused from curls, cleans or what. but whenever i go to tighten my belt for squats and deads it kills my forearm and elbow. i've gotten an x-ray and nothing is broken so i don't know whats up. has anyone had this problem before and can give me some advice on what to do about it?

it could be tennis elbow which is inflammation in the elbow. the only way to get rid of this is to stop the motion that causes this. The reason this is happening is because curls is a repetitive motion and everytime you do it it irritates the tendions in your elbow. Ive had this before and i had stopped for a month of curls or anything like that motion. I would say you should ice it a lot and use icy hot.

I had that a month or so ago. It started after I tried a little too hard to win a few arm wrestling matches in a row. The guy I was up against was using bad form and twisted something a bad way so when I put all my strength in to beat him it screwed something up. I just tried to keep it lightly involved for a few weeks. It was so bad that I was physically unable to curl 25lbs with that arm. After a month it seemed to get better and now it's back to full strength with just a little soreness sometimes.
