Pressing's completely fine. However when it comes to like pressdowns or movements like that, the joint gets really sensitive and starts to hurt even with lighter weights. Any possible rehab protocol for this?

You may be developing some tendonitis in the area. I would take some ib profen and lay of the exercises that bother it for a week or two, then see how it feels. Elbow pain is common in people who do alot of bicep curls or tri extensions, due to the fact that tendonitis is an overuse injury.

X2^^

I would also recommend that you do some light to moderate stretching of the tri's and bi's. Don't go beyond any pain if you feel it. Also, take notice of the positions of your elbows when doing these exercises. You may need to adjust it to your comfort level.

Good luck to you!

Actually i don't do a lot of arms (volume/frequency). I guess i'll up the reps (12+) till my elbow gets comfortable with lower ones

Don't up the reps! You'll just create more inflamation in your joints. You're going to have to lay off the exercises for a week or two.

recommended rest time for tendenitis is 3 weeks which usually is not long enough and ineffective. OP I would avoid anything that aggravates it. You can use motrin but be careful because you might not be able to assess what is bothering your elbow which would delay your healing. I would also look to adding some direct forearm work because through experience mostly its do to underdeveloped forearms which creates greater torque and pressure on the elbow.

agreed. lay off in till its better. lay off a week or two and test it. wait the next day and see if its sore. if it is lay off and maybe do high reps if it doesnt hurt

Actually i tried doing triceps yesterday (i didn't check back to this thread till today lol)

I start with doing cgbp. After that my elbows seems fine, skull crushers felt ok, best was that my tricep pulldowns felt little to no strain at all. Was my past strain due to ''unwarmed-up'' elbows?

I have that same issue man.
I just start out with a normal Tri pull down, then once I move over to other Tri workouts my elbows feel fine..
