lol, there are no bands like Cynic. Maybe Spiral Architect, but they're not putting out any material anytime soon.

Have Spiral Architect. Also have lots of Atheist, but that's a little different. I'm looking into Aeon Spoke (has a couple members of cynic, is supposed to be really chill, atmospheric kinda stuff)

Oh yeah, I was going to mention Atheist too.
I'll scroll through my itunes. Which is an incredibly slow and painful thing to do.

Portal also has some Cynic members in it. Although I think they only released a demo.
You could check out Death. They dont really have Cynic's clean sections though.
According to wiki, Gordian Knot are similar. Which they are, but they're just instrumental. If that bothers you.
Seriously though like the dude above me said, there's no one that sounds like Cynic. Atheist is probably as close as you could get.
