I have been thinking about doing one, but have never done one before (i'm thinking in about 6 months). I have no idea where to begin, except that i need to get on a stricter diet!
Also how much does something like this cost and what do i need? (outfits, a trainer, certain meal plans/workouts)? Could i get sponsers if it is to expensive?
If someone could guide me or have suggestions of sites or people that could i would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

kelly

Shameless plug but I offer a competitive package for diets, see my site below in the sig and there are countless pics and testimonials from clients.

Good Luck to you.

I dont see why you couldnt approach your gym and tell them what you are considering? It does get dostly, I think I am over the $1,000.00 mark easily! My show alone, tickets entry fees NGA card, Polygraph has exceeded the $300.00 mark.

I'm over $1000 for the year already in just entry fee, drug tests, org entry and suits and I have one more contest to go this year.

6 months is definitely a doable length of time. Get a trainer and/or nutritionist. Check out the "Fitness Competitions" forum as well. There's lots of info on there about figure as that's where most of us post.
