Who here uses game meat as part of there diet when dieting down for a show?
Specifically deer meat?

I don't see any issue with it. It is pretty lean and high protein. Seems like any other meat to me. I think how you prepare it would be more important...

Venison is a very good meat choice. It's read meant..which is good, but is MUCH leaner than beef.

Its leaner then regular beef..
and its free??

Well not exactly free... gotta pay for tags and a butcher!

No issues at all if it was cheaper we all would use more of it. Since I tend to live on tuna, white fish and egg whites. Sledon eat red meat. I would not mind bulking on it. Talk about a lean bulker......... nice

yeah, but do you honestly HAVE to pay for tags and a butcher? I always end up with tags and never have once needed them... we butcher our own deer because we do a cleaner job than most butchers... just very time consuming but great forearm and shoulder work with how long and meticulous it is... haha
