Background:

Whats up everyone, the name is Adam and I am 15. I weigh 132 pounds at a height of 5'6". I'm a long distance runner so being cut would help out my preformance, my confidence around girls, and overall lifestyle. I used to weigh around 175 pounds about a year back, then toughened up and ran that weight off. This is my first post/thread on this forum so I'm excited!

Routine:

Cardio - Everyday I run with my team

Weights - Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. High rep, low weight. I basicly do ciruit training because I do all the machines with 4 sets each with at least 20 reps on each set.

Core Workout Everyday

-30 stands push ups
-100 jidder bugs
-100 crazy ivans
-60 sit ups
-60 v ups
-60 knee ups
-60 leg raises
-1 minute planks, left and right and center

Supplements:

Whey Protein
L-Glutamine
Fiber

Meal Plans:

1451 Calories per day with 2 protein shakes

Goals:

Low body fat percentage
Vascular and cut physique
MORE healthy attitude and lifestyle

this is weird but when a pull down my excess skin on my stomach i cud see my abs...how do i actually see them with out doing that?

on your body, IMO you simply need more muscle in your abs. you could diet to see them a little more, but you are already pretty low bf %. Theres a lot of posts on here about how to get more overall muscle in the abs, might be worth lookin into. Goodluck in reaching your goals man!

so this is day 15 (even tho i didnt post the other 15 days here) and i rearranged my diet since i was starving all the time. i rechecked my calorie intake and turned it into 1451 rather than 1000 and something.

i am offically starting tommorrow morning with some egg whites and a glass of some green tea. i will be drinking green tea through out the day to keep my metabolism pretty high.

The abdominal muscles are composed mostly of slow twitch fibres. As a muscle grou they have VERY LITTLE potential for growth. Just because the guy is skinny doesn't mean he has a low body fat %.

so what do you reccomend i do to get that "six pack abs"

im already cutting with 1451 calories a day with...

protein - 75%
carbs - 15%
fat - 10%

just came back from the gym....not that sore but i ran a race today a 5k and got a 17:21 which is a personal best for me....

tommorrows meals are going to look like

meal 1

half cup of oat meal
green tea or coffee

meal 2

can of tuna
2 slices of whole wheat bread
apple

meal 3

cornish hen chicken
with some yeggys


todays meals were

meal 1

egg whites

meal 2

salad with a handful of baby carrots with balsomic and italian dressing
4 slices of chicken breast
1 large apple
cup 1/2 of mixed nuts

meal 3

half sweet potato
3 cups of califlower
7 ounces of cornish hen chicken
1 1/2 cups of cole slaw no mayo



i dont no if im not eatting enough or eatting to much....but i dont feel that hungry at all during the day but at night im kinda hungry and crave an apple but i dont eat it.

anyways today was good and im looking foward to building and cutting some lean muscle in the upcoming months.

whats up everyone. today was a pretty good day. at practice today we ran for an hour at a mild pace. i didnt do weight training today because it wasnt in my workout plan for today, but i will be in the gym training my butt off tommorrow.

today i consumed roughly 1300 calories.

my meals looked like

meal 1

half cup of oatmeal
green tea

meal 2

can of tuna no mayo
2 peices of whole wheat bread
1 leaf of lettuce
1 large apple

meal 3

3 peices of chicken cutlet
2 cups of brocolli
half a sweet potato


meal 4

large apple
2 handfuls of mixed nuts

tommorrow my meals going to look like

meal 1

half cup of oatmeal
green tea

meal 2

5 oz of chicken breast
2 peices of whole wheat bread
1 leaf of lettuce
1 large apple

meal 3

grilled chicken
3 cups of calliiflower

today was pretty good. at running practice with the team today we ran a 1800m warm up. 1 mile on the track at 3/4 race pace and 2 miles at race pace.

it was a pretty easy running workout. also my weight lifting workout today seemed to go pretty well, i worked out pretty late today bc i couldnt get a ride (9pm started).

after the weight training i was extremly sore and took some l glutamine and some fiber. i feel pretty good right now, just for shows that glutamine does work to all the people who say it doesnt.

my diet today looked like this...it was 1305 calories at the end of the day

meal 1

half cup of oatmeal

meal 2

5 leafs of lettuce
hald cup of oatmeal
5 slices of chicken breast
2 pieces of whole wheat toast

meal 3

cup of rice with veggys in it
half cup of carrots
half cup of string beans
7 oz of grilled chicken

meal 4

2 handfuls of mixed nuts

meal 5

1 handful of mixed nuts

today was pretty good. ate well...other than that today was a rest day.

my abs and stomach muscles are absoultly killing me...the diet is going pretty well. im still watching my calorie intake and what not....other than that im pretty good..time to eat meal 4!
