I could only play about 30 minutes the other night...had all the lights off and the surround sound blasting. It was super intense...my heart was racing on some of the parts.

lol well it only happened cause I was playing headquarters and people on the other team were playing like it was death match and not tring to get the head quarters, so even though they had more kills we still won he game. If ws funny they talked trash in the lobby after a match and I invited them to a death match game....they declined :D

yea i usually make a bunch of crystal light lemonade and that helps. i feel the less often i smoke the less hungry i get, plus i enjoy it more than if im doing it all the time. plus, now i actually know what being sober feels like (except for CoD withdrawals ;p)

Well, your K/D ratio is important but there's challenges you can do once you start playing that will get you leveled up quicker.

Say that you start with a Thompson gun, after you get 15 (or 20) kills with it, you unlock a silencer, after another set amount of kills, you unlock a gun-sight.

If you jump off a building that is 40ft taller and live, you get bonus points for that, if you sprint for a certain amount of length, you get bonus points for that.

After each match, you get points, those points level you up. The higher you get, the more points it takes to level up.

I say find a gun that you get decent with and stick with it. Also, pick up other peoples guns in the game when they die because they'll be better than what you start with.

What is the best gun to level up with? One that has a Sight/Silencer, also a gun the takes less shots to kill someone but is also go at close range and far. I like guns that have a 3 round burst usually, and guns like that in COD. 3 round burst are usually more accurate. True?

When you unlock the MP40, that fits the bill, except for the 3 rd burst. I roll with it with an ammo drum, double tap, and deep impact.

I run with different guns on different maps. The SVT works nice for me, the STG44 owns.

STG is not bad but its a slow weapon as far as bringing it up to shoot and rate of fire. I bounce between the type 100, STS and the PTRS.

I thought the Pshhhhhhhhhhhhhh was gonna rock but the recoil ruins it. The last machine gun and rifle are VERY good.

Team death is the best. I usually get 20 kills or more in that. K/D is starting to go back up. I like the MP 40 with the extra mag, that way I can let loose and not worry so much about running out of ammo. Bouncing betty's work well too.

Right on man.......The STG44 and Carbine is the best guns. You unlock the STG44 at Lvl 37 and the Carbine at 65.

It takes time but if you can shoot the Type100 with Deep Impact and Stopping power it's pretty effective.

I have the wireless and have never had a problem, though I know some who have. As far as cheaper, yeah, it's way cheaper if your modem is close to where your console is, or you don't mind running ethernet cable.

I played the Bioshock demo...wasn't that impressed personally. Although if you're into those kinds of games, I'd recommend Dead Space. I'm having loads of fun with it.

And I did try contacting Xbox yesterday and I got an Indian dude with one of the thickest accents I've ever encountered. He wasn't a techie either because he had to put me on hold to 'look up' the problem (I mean, I could have done that for myself), so I just hung up. Then I went to Youtube and found tons of instruction videos from 10 year old boys who had their xBoxes resting on carpets, or with their heated laptops resting on top of their consoles. Nice!

I feel like I've got to get some 'tech dude' in here to hook this up for me! I need to play 'Left 4 Dead' live dammit! :D

Usually a DNS requires me to reboot my modem and router. Have you tried that yet?

Hook everything up, then unplug your modem first for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Then uplug your router for about 30 seconds, and plug it back it. This will give you a new IP address. After that fire up your X-Box and try the network connection test in the Dashboard.

I would stop in and fix it for you but that is a pretty long trip to fix Live.

Try the reboots I had this problem once I will log on tomorrow and see if i can remember what I did to fix it.

If I remember right if the reboot did not work you have to log into your router and have it allow the router to let he xbox to connect to the internet.

You don't need to but you can. It takes away all of your weapons and challenges and basically starts you over except with a new badge/icon.

Try a direct connect to modem so you can make sure it's not your router causing the problem. Then run the configure/test network on your xbox.
