Alright so I figure if I right out my everyday training log just day by day it'll keep me honest. So in this thread ill post pics and Do a write up on what I'm Doing for training every day. When people have suggestions or criticism just write it down. I want to be ready for this fight to the point that I will breeze through the actual fight.

O and check out this website for custom shorts... Muay Thai, K1 or boxing shorts... I thought it was cool..

Tonight I was super tired from the weekend because my wife decided to party it up pretty hard. But I still dragged my ass in the gym and got an amazing work out.

I only did the Boxing class because I was seriously unable to move my arms by the end of it...

We did a quick 10 minute warm-up consisting of:
Jumping jacks
bicycle Crunches
Knuckle Push-ups
30 second punches
standing knee ups
And some various other exercises that I have no idea what to call...

From there we went into Rounds... 12-3minute rounds with 1 minute rest.

4 Shadow Boxing Rounds
3 Heavy bag rounds
3 Jump rope Rounds
2 Speed bag rounds

Then repeat the Warm-up as a cool down...

Hands up, chin down...

Man is this kicking my Butt...

Warm up for 10 min...

8 rounds alternating between heavy bag and shadow boxing... 3 min rounds

10 minutes One on One with coach and the mitts...

2-3min rounds of jump rope...

Cool down.


I was going to go to grappling but man am I tired...

MMA practice tomorrow and then Thursday I'm going to hit 4 hours of training... that should be fun

Grappling class yesterday... Actually it turned more into Ground and pound class...

I learned some new moves with the knee ride and some reversals for it. That was fun, I love the knee ride!

Did some 5 minute rounds alternating every minute between ground and stand up. Those were killer!

Ive lost over 15 lbs so far... another 15 lbs to go and Ill be looking to take a fight!

Training is going well... Just weighed in at 229.4 lbs

I need to lose about 15 before im comfortable confirming for a fight...

Well thats good to know... This week should be a good one. Just confirmed with a "BIG" sparring partner for tomorrow. He is 6'3 265 lbs... Easy target for me! lol...

So I just got back from training... Started with Boxing at 6. Started with a pretty easy warm up but then jumped straight into it...

4-3 minute rounds of heavy bag... 1 minute rest in between

4-3 minute rounds Shadow Boxing in the ring (Practice working out of the corner alot...)

3-3 minute rounds Jump rope! ( I hate this_:(....

1-3 minute round speed bag...

5 minute cool down...

Here I took a 3-3 minute sparring round with this big guy I know... I was tired as hell but I wanted a couple extra minutes of actually hitting a moving target... Coach approved...

Next I hit the grappling class... a full hour of wrestling with the strongest small guys Ive ever met lol...

Practiced some knee ride moves into submissions... and some escapes...

Ended with 5-3 minute rounds with 1 minute rest in between or straight submission wrestling.
At the end I couldnt move... I took twenty minutes after class to just stretch and walk it out before I drove home... I AM IN PAIN!!! But you know the saying...

So last night I had boxing and I kinda took it easy... I was super sore from the day before so I didnt wanna over do it... I warmed up like usual but instead of doing heavy bag rounds I doubled my shadow boxing... I did 7 rounds of shadow boxing and 3 rounds of jump rope... Then I had one on one time with coach and the mits... This is where I really learn the most. He started teaching me some diferent weave outs. Learning to move after every combo short or long...

Awesomeness!

I have dropped about 10 in the last 3 weeks and I have been eating to try and keep it on too. I have yet to spar standup with a big guy yet, but I have rolled with a couple big guys though, 275lbs - 300lbs. It was quite an experience to say the least.

I have to spar/roll with a guy who has a 100lbs on me every class:D

I lost 16 in two weeks... I lost a good ten pounds that first week which I figure was water weight even though im drinkin 170 oz. of water a day. Then about a pound a day the next week... I did start taking animal pump though so I figure my weight will level off until I stop taking that. Just because of the Creatine in it. But who knows how my body will react with it...

I shoot for six meals a day... One or two of those meals being a protein shake lol... The rest I just eat small super healthy portions without alot of carbs... Alot of chicken and fish and a ton of eggs.

Im taking a couple sups that help too... Animal Pump before class(minus the red pill) , a multi EFA, Pre-natal vitamin in the morning and a multi vitamin at night...

I just had an hour of private instruction. WOW! You can learn so much faster with a coach one on one. We worked on punching in for kicks and punching out. Setting up combos with knees and leg kicks... And setting distance for my favorite finish, THE HEAD KICK... lol

Awesome work out... Cant wait till 6 for my boxing and grappling classes

I am looking forward to learning combos going from punching to kicking. We have not gone over it yet in class. We have worked all the striking separately but I am anxious to learn how to transition from punching to kicking, because right now I feel very uncoordinated when I do it.

Ya I had a couple down my sleeve already but man he really opened my eyes to a new world with some of the things he showed me. '

O AND BY THE WAY!!!

I hate the weekend. It forces me to take two days off and I just dont like taking days off. I think Im gonna bike ride tonight if its not raining.

And My calves are killing me from boxing class. I havent had to stand on my toes for extended periods of time for a while... So this week I think Im gonna skip boxing and do Grappling and MMA class on MON, Tues, and Thurs. and then MT and Grappling WED and Fri... Plus my private lunch sessions on Thurs and Fri... WOOHOO should be a good week!

And Im gonna start training to mimic the style of this guy... "THE DIAMOND"

God Its hard to stay on track with my diet... So last night I made my lunch for today. I think this is the part im gonna struggle with the most. Like before when I ate what I wanted I didnt crave things but this weekend out of left field I started craving lil Peanut butter cups. Seriously... lol So I had a pack of them... DAMNIT

Anyways its Monday and its a new day to do things right. Im hittin the gym tonight. SKIPPING BOXING!!! And instead Im going straight to grappling and then MMA class... YAY

So last night I skipped boxing and did Grappling and MMA class...

4 Pro fighters showed up to mma class and totally decided to do round robins on me till I puked. Well it worked.... Twice! lol

Awesome work out though and learned some new triangle variations that I never really knew before. so that was exciting.

Friday Night I had a sparring session with three local Pro fighters. It was alot of fun. Most of those guys arent used to seeing legs fly around there head and Im not used to people trying to take me down lol... So all in all it was a blast!

yeah cross training is always funny i spar with a second degree combat TKD guy and he never see the heel pick coming lol. I'm not even a good grappler i just know im a better grappler then him haha.

LOL... Nice. Some of the TKD guys can be fun to train with because they do have good kicks. I find myself sucking into a defensive punchers stance when I fight them which is weird for me because I love to kick people!

So the weather really bummed me out for a few days! but Im back in action... My coach got me off the low carb diet I was on. Pretty much because I couldnt make it through a class without dying!

Now Im on a decent Carb diet and last night went great. Worked grappling for an hour and went into MMA. Practiced the take down and then sparred with some Pro fighters.

Hey I just realized you had started a log. Very cool. I'm glad you got off the low-carb business. You should have a lot more energy for training now. Your conditioning must be awesome, when I finish a boxing class all I want is food and a nap; can't imagine doing another class afterward.

Ya after another month or so its required to do three classes straight a day... so really Ill be doing Boxing for an hour then straight into Grappling then into MMA...

Thats what it takes to be on the "TEAM"

but once your on the team then training is free, supps are discounted and gear is free... SO ITS WORTH IT!!! lol

And ya my Cardio is getting up there... by the end of the two classes right now I can barely crawl to my car lol

Do you think it would be a good idea to do weight or cardio work right before or after a MT class, for example ? I always thought it'd be bad but I think that's th eonly way I could squeeze these sessions into my schedule (my gym is on my way to MT).

It would be good to do after... Not before though, If you come to MT tired then you will sacrifice the abilitie to train the moves correctly...

Freaking excited!!! So I drive about an hour to work at least everyday and then more then an hour home.

I just found out they are implementing a new system that possibly will allow me to work from home! not only will I save gas but I will save time and energy. Only allowing me to train harder and longer!

GOD I HOPE THIS HAPPENS SOON!

Ill find out if Im one of the first people to get this chance hopefully this week or next

Its going good, I decided Im not a huge fan of the sweet science. Personally I think it should include kicks lol... Personal preference.

Other then that my cardio is really taking off and Im able to go for longer stretches of time. I need to find some mexican style headgear for my thursday and friday practice. I finally found a guy who doesnt mind doing some 75% sparring with me... Probably cause he is a **** ton bigger then me. But thats good because I really like feeling something behind my punch and getting punched.

Im wearing a very small costume for halloween and need to be without water weight. So ya... well see how this goes. This Morning I was 229 lbs. I guess Ill weigh myself before I leave friday night

Just don't get in any fights at the party you are going to because cutting like that will most likely result in you gassing early.

Alright So I never even used the sauna... I really wish I did! tear

But anyways friday night before I went out I weighed in at 223.2 lbs.!!!

My original goal when I joined this site was to lose 20 lbs by halloween... I more then accomplished that goal. I started at 245.8 so yay me!

NOW, I need a new goal to work on. Im thinkin hard and working on something so we will see what I figure out. Any suggestions will be gladly accepted. O and I forgot to load this pics from friday but Ill work on that!

you could try to get down to 215 by new years? thats the weight you said you wanted to be before you where willing to confirm a fight right? that seems pretty reasonable if you lost 20lbs from sept to halloween.

**** man I went out and got hammered... I got second place at the contest which Kinda is bull but whatever lol... The smurfs won, but the guys who dressed as them all worked at the bar! lol... It was the ex manager, ex bartender and two off duty bouncers. SO Im not to butt hurt about it... The girls loved it but thats another story! FTW!

Worked on some new combos that Im gonna try and work into my game. My left hook is really coming along and is gonna be devistating if I ever get that close to someone. Also my elbows are really coming along nicely.

Probably looking at fighting in January sometime. Should be a blast!!!

I did cheat like a mo fo last night and had a bunch of double stuffed oreos... But whatever

Do you have an opponent already or are you just trying to reach out to a promotion to get on an upcoming card? You fighting at 205 I take it?

My Hook was so awkward the first month or so of training, but I am liking it more and more each practice.

Ill be fighting at 205 for sure. Ive been approached by a few organizations already with possible fights. Im actually somewhat well known in my area and because of my fighting style people love to have me on there card! lol... I think its cause I knock people out. Anyways I dont have one lined up yet my coaches are weighing the advantages of each.

Our gym gets our guys fights like crazy. Our head instructor is good friends with the guys that run a few of the multiple orgs around us, one actually trains at our gym occasionally. We had guys fight early last month and are fighting again December 6th. From what I have seen in the orgs around us there aren't a lot of bigger guys, above 185 that is.

Stupid picture is blocked at work so no fishnets for me :(

Damnations I look good today... Anyways I had boxing last night and got some one on one with the coach just working on super simple basics. I wanna make sure I have those down... I know all the punches and how to do them seperately, I just really need to make sure Im always on balance to throw the next punch... I have a really tough time with leaning into my punches. BLAH!

So I keep checking my weight and although my diet isnt the best right now, Im staying around 225 lbs. Im upping my abs and core exercise ten fold really working on decline sit ups and rotational strength. When I started this class I really struggled to do 20 push ups. Now Im pumping out sets of 50 like its nothin!!! That really F-ing excites me and I can already see a difference in my arms, chest and shoulders. Also on thursdays Im gonna start doing high rep low set squats... Probably only 135 lbs to start with. Im really gonna try to get my legs cut! I think I could lose 5 pounds off my legs if I really try...

The Tat: Is a Foo dog and Kanji the says Sagitarius. The Kanji was donated skin for a friend who was an apprentice tattoo'er... And the Foo Dog is not finished, when done the entire thigh will be covered...

My day job: I sit in a cubicle and play on the computer all day, Im in sales for Motosport.com

Diet: I completely understand diet is key and for two months my diet was amazing... but sadly Ive been super broke lately and had to make drastic cut backs as far as shopping for food... so now Im just eating as best I can... The oreos were just one really bad night where I had to eat something amazing lol

WOW... So Im on a local forum from my home town... I just got called out twice in the same day. TWO DIFERENT GUYS! One is a current LHWT TITLE HOLDER... THE OTHER IS A CURRENT HWT TITLE HOLDER...

I have been focusing on making sure each punch in a combo is its own punch and to not start throwing the next before the previous hand is back where it belongs. I have gotten caught a few times because of this but I think part of it is because I am still new and my combos are still pretty predictable. Jab, cross, hook gets picked up on pretty quickly I have found out.

Its actually super easy to find chumps to fight lol... But its hard to get a guy with a good record who will actually excel me in the fight world. I will most likely fight one of these two guys but not without a warmup fight first... I gotta knock off a year of ring rust for sure. I know I could take one of them easy because he isnt used to speed like mine... the other guy would be a challenge because of his wrestling background.

I have good hip rotation on my punches and for the most part stay back... But man when I smell blood that goes to ish and I throw hard and over my top foot lol... If I miss then Im screwed because I end up way out of balance

Wow, I had a really **** weekend. The only thing that saved the weekend was that on Sunday at open gym I got a huge compliment on how far my ground game has come.

Anyways, Im hoping to start saving cause I got a lucrative offer to join a friend in Thailand for some MT... I really hope im able to save enough! but who knows. In the meantime Im going to try and contact one of my old sponsors that really helped out when times were tough. We will see how that goes.

Anyways if anyone feels like cheering someone up today... Use that energy on me. I could really use a smile!

I guess years of all sorts of arts and crafts paid off.

actually read my mind, well handmade MMA gear in general, right now ill be screen printing on prefabbed shirts, though a very high quality of cut. but everything that isn't a T is handmade, and the Ts will be as soon as i get good enough at my stitching lines. I have two lines of MMA stuff forming

and
Pit Fighter- more casual, some mma joke shirts, light hearted, MMA gear

I have seent that too, it is bad ace. Unfortunately that is well below where I can get them and still have them covered in my suit and tie. Although I could wear leather gloves all the time and look like a contract killer.

That would make u look bad arse for sure! lol... I wont ever get anything on my hands for the same reason. Im a salesman at heart and will most likely work my way into a higher business position where Ill have to have a tie again lol... So for now 3/4 sleeve is the most possible but Ill probably just go with a chest and back piece...

I can pretty much go down to my wrist if I want, although if I do that I couldn't roll my sleeves up. With my sleeves rolled up you can just see the bottom of the one on my forearm. I don't have anything in mind for lower than that so I should be good.

For sure... The arms were never a really big deal to me, especially since I dont have the biggest arms lol... I carry half my weight in my thighs and calves!

Alright, So I just found a bunch of old pics. This is my last fight against Tom Matejacic. He was a tough opponent but I was just in a different world. I was completely out of shape and not ready for this fight... but here are some good pics.

And yes I wore a Tux before my fight cause I went to a wedding that day lol

He was an undefeated HW coming down to 205 for his first fight.. I didnt handle it very well lol. I waited and timed a left haymaker of his... closed distance and hit him with a right hook... I feel it was more luck then skill lol... But I hit him hard!!!

Seriously, if I don't start weight lifting soon I'm gonna keep dropping weigh tlike crazy and I don't want that. Still, I'm sure I could be strong and ripped at 125 lbs... we'll see. I'm gonna start lifting in January again and I'm pretty sure I could maintain a low body fat % and bodyweight with all the training. I have better energy with a lower bodyweight that's for sure and it can always be useful.

Well because of events in my lil town Ive decided to hit a cycle of Bulk... Im going to get my Bench, Power Clean, Squat, And Deadlift weights way up! By doing this Ill save about 80+ dollars a month in gym fees and be in great shape. Ill be shooting for sets of 50 in Squats and Bench... and till burnout in Clean. While still trying to put on bulk lmfao so this should be interesting. Within the next week or two Ill be testing my max weights in those lifts, which will probably make me depressed cause I havent lifted a weight in a long time!

When you say sets of 50, what exactly do you mean. I am out of it today and not fully understanding. You are not going to do 50 sets are you? If so, you are the man.

Okay that makes a little more sense to me. That still sucks though. I did 10 sets of 5 the other night and that was enough for me.

I spent 2 weeks doing Serg Nubret style volume training, nothing like 10 sets of 20 to make life suck for a few days, but i feel all and all it added to my muscular endurance in a positive way, i just wont ever do it again. plus you cant even do that with most compound motions it has to be a bunch of lamer work outs to really train that way daily. you guys seem to have picked a more reasonable volume. ;)

Well Im gonna try my ass off... I have had to train for fights alone in the past, and done pretty well. I think as long as I focus getting my muscles into endurance mode I will have a good chance at my next fight in late January...

negative... im starting with twenty reps for the first couple days.... Then Im upping it to 50 reps... and then 100 reps!

Im going for extreme muscle endurance... I cant gain mass! I have to be able to make 205 lbs

But I have no use to get big. alot of workouts for MMA fighters involve extremely high reps and sets. 100 push ups after 200 sit ups followed by 70 pull ups and then run 2 miles... Of course If i follow that by heavy bag burnouts I think ill get in shape!

I don't see how that mimic a fight.

Do a circuit WITH HEAVY WEIGHTS during 5 min, then 1 min break, then another circuit, repeat... you don,t have to do tons of rep and if you eat properly you will not get bigger

Im gonna work my way into heavier weights... Im an old man, My body cant handle a bunch of high impact weight training! lol... Even when I do squats ill be doing a lil over two hundred pounds 20 times... probably three sets... and work my way up!

For Interval training I wont be using weights so much as sprawls and punching drills and jump rope and shadow box etc etc etc

Alright last night I had a pretty good workout...

Warm-up:

1 set 20reps....
Tri pull down
Machine press
machine pull
Decline abs
Twisters

Workout...

Super set
135 lbs bench --- push ups
20 reps each (regular grip)
15 reps each (tight grip)
1 set to fail (tight-5 regular-5 wide till fail) Couldnt actually do any pushups after this set lol... so i just held push up position for 30 seconds

Pilates ball push up work out... Hard to explain this one...

Jump rope--- 5 sets of 2 minutes
3 sets of 30 seconds as fast as you can go

Power cleans... 155 lbs 3 sets of 12 reps

I started with this because I took 2 weeks off and Im sore as hell today... Now im off to MT... THen tonight Ill be doing legs and core...

DONT HOLD BACK--- TELL ME WHAT U THINK

12-1 MT training... 5-3 minute rounds of sparring... Heavy bag work and weak links work... got a great sweat going!!!


7-9 weight training...

Squats

20 at 135lbs
20 at 185lbs
10 at 225lbs
10 at 315lbs

Lunges:
135 lbs... 3 sets of ten each leg

Calves.. 90 lbs 3 sets of 30

Hamstrings 4 sets of burnout....

Abs--- TO HARD TO EXPLAIN~~~ lol but it was a killer workout with lots of rotational strength. Decline board and lower abs... all weighted

I don't feel so bad about the weights I used for my last weight training session now, regardless of what C Project said. If you work with around 50% of your bodyweight you can still get a good workout in. Great minds think alike.

Naw I read ur workout and it was fine! Making it through a 25 minute fight is all about muscle endurance... Ur not going to be able to get true muscle endurance with sets of 5-8 reps... some people dont get that... Obviously if 20 reps at 135 isnt enough ill up the weight until I struggle to make it. and when the next weight isnt enough ill up that.

Im thinking about doing crossfit but im not sure yet

Our gym is now crossfit certified so I need to find a time to start getting some of the classes in. It is hard enough to find the energy for two classes on a weeknight, let alone add another half an hour of crossfit.

I am not much of a stretcher so if I get really sore like that I actually work out what is hurting but with a really light weight. I know that is pretty much stretching but if I am using weights I don't mind it as much if I can justify it as another workout, regardless of how little weight I use. A hot bath with epsom salts works too, if you can fit in the thing that is. I have to do one leg at a time and my back separate, it is a pain but I feel better afterwards.

Elliptical: 1 mile Warm up!

Arm bike: 1 mile forward

Recumbent bike: 2 1/2 miles

Arm bike: 1 1/2 miles backwards


Then is was a upper body day... Im in a weird mood this morning so im not gonna write about it. Tonight Im gonna skip weights and do boxing and MMA class. there are only a few of these left so i might as well take advantage

O and I got a free hour with a personal trainer coming up this week... so I should be able to figure out my body fat percentage, that will be a first for me!

I despise almost all forms of cardio that require me to just sit or stand on a machine for an extended period of time unless it is that handbike. I would do 15 minutes forward, 15 minutes backwards, 15 minutes forward, and 15 minutes backward. I also like the crazy ass stair steppers that are like mini escalators. Those are so brutal, I like doing them because it feels like if you don't keep up you will fall down and get sucked up back under it. Nothing like fear to fuel a good cardio session!

Ramp the speed up on that thing and it is like you are jogging up stairs but you feel like behind you is some kind of oversized paper shredder, but for PEOPLE not paper!

I have heard of it but I am in the car and train too long without access to a crapper to risk anything like that during the work week. I can only imagine how fast that stuff would move through you.

Ya luckily I sit at a desk thats like ten feet from a bathroom... lol My friend lost 22 pounds in 10 days on this diet so I was thinkin if I lost twenty and gained back 5 then I would be ecstatic!!!

They pretty much shove a hose up your pooper and rinse it out. I think it gets rid of a lot of the toxins too since some they sit all up in there. I guess the lemonade thing is much more hetro. The only bad thing is with the lemonade you probably have 10 days of the liquid ****s as opposed to one or two from the butt hosing.

Physical scheduled

I have a physical scheduled to get everything looked at next thursday... I have to do it every six months so I can fight... Its a new rule and this is my first one! yay

They will do all blood work... including Cholesterol which should be interesting..

Test BF% which Ive never done... That excites me. It should tell me how much more muscle I can gain and still be able to make 205 lbs

Ray worked with me on the ground and I must say he works well off his back. lol I thought I had him a couple times but he was just to quick!

My trainer suggested I take a K-1 style fight in two months time. He says because of my natural striking ability I might be able to excell faster at that type of competition. I GUESS WE WILL SEE!!!

That is awesome you get to train with fighters of that caliber. I am glad with my training partners, but working with someone who has even gotten to the TUF level has to make a difference. I guess our gym is somehow affiliated with Amir Sadollah's gym and our head instructor mentioned trying to get him to come by some time. That would be fine with me. In my journal I threw up some videos of my two main training partners last fights if you want to check them out.

After getting my BF% I have noticed that if I gain any muscle I wont be able to make 205 lbs!!! which would really suck bad. Im gonna do a detox in january which I think will help me reach where I need to be for my next fight

It usually just pops up the best knock outs or something. Pretty much its all stand up fighting brought together. Karate and kickboxing and taekwondo and all that. FULL CONTACT... 10 oz gloves. NO WEIGHT CLASS for the grand prix.

the only illegal blog is elbows to the face. kicks and punches and knees are good to go

Exactly... NO GRAPPLING!! which happens to be my weakness... So i think I might have a chance at excelling at this sport. Bad knees suck... but work through them yO! you can do it!

It was 17 degrees here which is crazy for us, but no snow.

I wrecked some 200+ lbers this weekend too. I am not only good against the little guys, yeah for validation.

Negative Ive not been working out at home unless you consider lifter a bottle of rum working out... TEAR ive probably taken 4 steps back... its gonna hurt getting back in the gym tomorrow!!!

17 degrees is pretty crazy... I know because we hit that too! lol... damn cold

Holy ****!!!!

I've been riding for seven years and make extra cash buying/selling/parting out bikes.

This is too weird.

My husband builds choppers but they make me nervous because parts occasionally fall off or come lose while you're riding down the road.

Well Actually I declinded because it was in Idaho. It was a 3x3 MMA Cage fight.

For the last month Ive only been training for my kickboxing fight in february.

Im working out 5-6 days a week usually twice a day. Cardio in the morning and then weights/Bags or class at night. I started yoga last week woohoo FTW

I got called by the promoter yesterday. he gave me two choices in fights for february 21st.

205 kickboxing match against a guy who is 1-4... lol ya that would be a nice warm up match

OR...

220 MMA match against a guy names Daniel Krug. Former HW champion of the FCFF with a record of 6-1... He is 6-4 and weighs in at 230 right now.

Like a puss I told him I wanted the kickboxing match but if the guy woosed out I would fight Krug

Im really hoping for the KB match. Not only am I more confident in my stand up, I believe this to be the easier match up as far as a first fight back. Get rid of some of the rings rust....


On another note this weekend Im gonna drive seven hours to Idaho and watch "Caged Warfare" A new promotion that wants me to fight for them. Im gonna check it out and make sure its legit before I start putting time and energy into training for one of there events...

Tonight is "Cardio" Kickboxing... Which I have turned into an hour of Shadow boxing with 16 oz. gloves. It actually gets me sweating hardcore. Im also gonna do an abs workout and probably rec. Bike. End with a cool down in the sauna. I just got back from a light upper body workout and with a quick two miles on a Pre-cor machine

Well, I can see why the other guy didn't want to fight you. The fight intro took 5 times as long as the fight itself. Well done sir.

Actually I didnt have my fight shorts with me... The promoter bought those from an mma shop locally so I could fight. The rest I had with me because I was gonna train at the local club.

LOL Ya I got to keep the shorts. Some ring girl was trying to get me to give her the shorts after my fight but I was like hell no these must be lucky! lol

PS I started doing Laps in the pool. I think Im gonna do pool work out every other day... I think Mon, wed and fri Ill do swimming in the morning and weights at night. Tues and thurs Ill do BIke or elliptical and hand bike.

So for the last week Ive been training twice a day at the local gym working on cardio and flexibility. Today is my first day that Im gonna take it somewhat easy... Just get a nice good warm up with the eliptical and arm bike... Maybe play some basketball or something, hit the hot tub.

I leave Wed morning for Idaho, Weigh ins are in Boise at around 3-4. Fight is on Thursday night and ill come home friday.

If anyone wants to watch its at Quest arena in Boise, ID. Should be fun. Ill post pics and video as soon as I have them.

Im pretty nervous because of this guys Height but to be honest Other then a fluke submission I dont see how he could beat me. Im gonna chop this big boy down...

So I just got back from Boise... DAVID VS. GOLIATH... Talk about the hardest fight of my Career so far... Multiple submission escapes only to win by a KO... O I love my Right hand... lol It wasn't pretty cause I was tired of dealing with his reach so finally I just stood and banged with him.

I left without a scratch, HE had a Broken nose and dislocated Jaw... Video up tonight I promise!!!

Hey man. I haven't logged in for ages but just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS on everything, all the progress, the wins and the tremendous shape you're in bro! You're a huge motivation to me for my fight in May. I won both my Muay Thai fights in Thailand ( not very proud of how I fought but to be fair the other two guys were 10-15 years more experienced hehe) , I start my BJJ training in May as well. Looking forward to keeping track of your fights!

You stayed very calm when he had your back too. One thing I have found since we got our new big guy is that being on the ground with a bigger guy isn't that bad, the bigger they are, the more room there is for you to work. Nice KO too, the 3 or 4 punches before he went down were nasty as hell too.

You stayed very calm when he had your back too. One thing I have found since we got our new big guy is that being on the ground with a bigger guy isn't that bad, the bigger they are, the more room there is for you to work. Sick fight I was very impressed, leg kicks were sick your ground was impressive you move well for a big guy, I hate when you get side control and they lock up a guillotine but I guess in his case it worked cause they stood it up and you didn't get to distribute some GnP.

Good fight though look forward to more videos.
