I did.
I was just about to drive away to pick up my tailgating items from my buddys house following our night out at the Browns steelers game on Sunday night when I heard this car come by my house and turn the corner trying to go up the hill and sputter out.

I was in a hurry and didn't really want to stop but since it was a girl of about 18, I felt bad, not to mention that she was trying to coast back down the street and turned herself sideways blocking the street. Women trying to drive backwards, we all know how that turns out. lol.

Her car was sputtering before it died, so it sounded like she was out of gas. I pushed her car to the front of my house and it so happened I just filled up my 1 gallon gas can to mow my lawn and had some gas left.

I told her if it wasn't an empty gas tank she was out of luck cause I have no knowledge fixing cars too much. Well I put what I had left into her tank and she started her car, and before she drove away offered me some money for the gas. I said it was only like two bucks worth of gas in that can, don't worry about it and she drove away.

This made me feel so good that I helped somebody and her car was only down for a total of about 5 minutes.

What a great feeling.

u know what i think is the cool thing about ur good deed - is that hopefully when she see's someone in trouble like that situtaion, she will remember the good thing u did & she will hopefully help someone else that needs help as well . i believe once u do a good deed it just has that full circle snowball effect. Now how Cool is that :) ;) !!!

Yep, it feels great to help folks out when you can. I try to do it as much as possible depending on the situation.

My most ironic story of helping someone out was when I was 18 years old. Me and a couple of buddies were driving back from Cinicinnati at about 1:00AM. There was a car on the side of the interstate with a woman trying to flag someone down. We stopped and it was a man and woman with their young daughter. They had a flat tire and their spare was flat also. I drove him back to Cincinnati (about 25 miles each way) where we found a place to air up the spare. I took him back and we helped him get the tire back on. I didn't accept any money or the bag of weed they offered :D.

We got back on the road and within 15 minutes I blew out my left rear tire. I had a good spare, but my lug wrench didn't fit my custom wheels and I had taken my toolbox out to make room for the cooler :(. The couple that we helped was driving by, I tried to flag them down, and they waved and honked and kept on going

I swore after that night I wouldn't help another sole again, but the next time I saw someone that needed a hand I stopped and helped them and have been doing so in the right situations every since.
