What is the best way of knowing what your body fat count is? I have mine done on a polars system and It told me I had 20.9 %= 40.9 lbs of fat.. Seems a little much to me and Navy standards. Help me out if there is another way to either meassure myself and do it or a better one other then this.

Hydrostatic weighing... but thats really hard to find although its very accurate. Other than that skinfold testing is the most common, then bioelectrical impedance which can be done on a scale purchased from Wall-Mart or online. But judging from your pictures around 20% looks about right

I just have an issue with the 40lbs of fat. I have some extra weight in the mid section but other then there my muscle tissue is just under the skin line. Currently stepping up my cardio to try and burn some extra cals. so from 15 to twenty minutes three times a week to 30 to 45 minutes 4 to 5 times a week. This paper work print out says if I loose 11lbs I'd be around 15% BCA. My problem is I don't normally actually loose weight but gain even through running.

Fat just isnt around your belly... its under your skin on your entire body, between muscle spindles, it cushions organs and joints. So when you think about it if a 200lb bodybuilder is 5% bodyfat, they still have 10lbs of fat, it doesnt look like it though. And your body type is probably an endomorph, gain weight easy and hard to lose fat. Whats your diet look like ? that plays a huge role in the whole thing.

My eating habits are in the process of getting changed. Tring to stop drinking as much soda. And trying to stay away from the fast foods. I am currently trying to eat breakfast(which wasn't doing before), and tring to eat a fruit about every 3 to 4 hours until dinner. And dinner consists of mainly white meats with most of the fat cut and removed. I think I may need to just set through a nutrional course and see what else I can change and supplement how things are cooked.
