Blade III (I used to admire Ryan, now I just hate him for getting paid a million to sit on his arse and do nothing but workout and eat and take 'roids for that role)

300 ('cos they were all on 'roids, eh Mintour? OK, maybe just Butler. I can't wait to see his 'trim' look in Rock N Rolla. Hehe.)

Pumping Iron ('cos they were all on 'roids. Arnie admits it on the 25th anniversary edition)

Rocky I and II (Before Sly was on 'roids)

Chasing Amy (Affleck was 'da bomb' before he got famous, great subject matter and very intelligent humour)

Dogma (another Kevin Smith movie. Carlin was da bomb on this one. R.I.P. really hits my 'blasphemy' funnybone).

The Whoopee Boys (anyone remember that one? Paul Rodriguez. f***ing hilarious!)

The Breakfast Club. 'Judd Nelson was harsh!' (Jay).

Awaiting negs............ (Particularly from Minotaur).

The Longest Day
Midway
Saving Private Ryan
The Jerk (Steve Martin)
Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein or any of the Mel Brooks series.
Vacation or any of the Chevy Chase vacation series

Do NOT watch as a family movie . We actually watched this last night. OH, I'm soooo glad my 15yr old daughter wasn't around. Definitely aimed toward the 20yr old crowd. Between my sister being over and watching, as well as my 20yr old son, we did laugh hysterically, but mainly at the absurdity of the scenes themselves. I love the GW part the best. I guess I was in the right mood for a really stupid comedy :).

Exactly!!

The only reason we (wife and I) saw the movie is we were at the Mall Of America with our youngest and her friend and had a few hours to kill. Nothing else good that weekend or it had already started. I got a kick out of watching other people react to it. And call me old, but topless is still tops in my book! :D

Harold And Kumar Quotes:

"I'm starting the bottomless trend." --Raza Syed
"You're gonna jam out with your clam out." --Neil Patrick Harris
"Welcome to Guantanamo bay, you boys like to spoon?" --prisoner

And dbx's favorite:
Kumar Patel: So, you like, smoke weed, then throw people in jail for smoking weed? Thats so hypocritical, dude.
George W. Bush: Do you like to give hand jobs?
Kumar Patel: Uh, no.
George W. Bush: Do you like to get hand jobs?
Kumar Patel: Well, yeah!
George W. Bush: That makes you a ****in' hypocriticizer too!

Harold: "If you like weed so much, why don't you just legalize it?"
George W. Bush: "Are you bleeping kidding me? You know how pissed off my dad would get if I did that?"
Kumar: "Holy ****, dude. My dad's all up in my **** too, about this whole med school thing, right? And it's no that I don't want to be a doctor, but like, bleep ing, sometimes I wonder if he's just encouraging me because he knows it'll make me happy or because he wants me to carry on his legacy, you know?"
George W. Bush: "You just blew my bleepin' mind."

Airport Security Guard (D'Anthony Palms): "I'm gonna need you to step aside, please. Let me search you."
Kumar Patel (Kal Penn): "Did I beep?"
Airport Security Guard: "Oh, no, you didn't beep. Just a random security check. If you could just step aside, please? Just over here."
Kumar: "Random, huh?"
Airport Security Guard: "Yeah."
Kumar: "So this has nothing to do with my ethnicity?"
Harold: "Come on, just do what the guy says."
Airport Security Guard: "Sir, it's our job as airport security to search for all possible weapons or illegal drugs."
Kumar: "So just because of the color of my skin, you assume that I have drugs on me? What are you a racist?"
Airport Security Guard: "Racist? Dude, I'm black."
Harold: "He's black. He's not racist."
Kumar: "Please, dude, you're barely even brown."
Harold: "No, he didn't mean that."
Kumar: "Compared to me, you look like Matthew Perry."

I actually love both, but only own the remake. I normally hate remakes, and Scorsese took a big gamble trying to remake a Mitchum and Peck film. I'd say his casting saved the day, as it's an excellent remake.

And I like your choice of Marathon Man. "Is it safe?"

For TV, Monty Python's Flying Circus series is a no-brainer . . . my dad used to let us stay up late to watch it on PBS when we were kids. Explains why we're so twisted now. :D I have the entire library on DVD.

Also . . . ever watch Blackadder? It's another Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean) series and it's a scream.

Mr. Wilson---"Castaway" with Tom Hanks. (If I'm right, do I get a rep?)

"BlackAdder" was brilliant. One episode where he's about to be tortured by a deaf and mute guy and he has to guess WHAT kind of torture is great!

Oh, yes, since I love old movies, "Sullivan's Travels" with Joel McCrea and "Ride the High Country", Randolph Scott's last film. A classic western.
