I'm barely old enough to know wtf Soupy Sales is.. Apparently he's still around and discovered twitter.

It just goes to show that being an unfunny comedian with world renown isn't a recent phenomenon.

I miss the Love Boat. Soupy Sales was a regular on that show. :D

Al Franken plagerized it a lot on SNL. I remember my roommates trying to convince me Al thought of it, I kept saying no way Soupy did it. they all said who is Soupy - lost cause.

I totally wished he was.

that's my bro from D town yer talkin' bout.

didn't Soupy's 2 sons partner up with David Bowie in a "rock" band. Trying to think what that was.

Tin Machine. They also played with The Stooges.

(I'm a big fan of Bowie and Iggy Pop.)

LOL

He must have gotten funnier over time

quote from his twitter page

"Yeah sure, I miss the big time. Fame, moolah. One thing I don't miss? Walking in on a nude Vic Tayback, jowls deep in JoAnn Worley. My eyes! 11:19 PM May 23, 2008 from twhirl "
