Anyone got any good suggestions for products of electrolytes that worked well for you?

gatorade powerade endura. you can go to a chemist and they will have next to the laxatives electrolyte replacements for when you've had the most eventful trip to the toilet ever and need to replace them.

I know I'm a noob to bb, but I'm not to sports in general. Vitalyte is the best.

Go to the bb.com store, Hammer Nutrition
Endurolytes Powder
$18 for 150 servings, just the electrolyte salts, so you can mix them in whatever you want
We add them to crystal light when we do summer yardwork and when humidity is high
That way you are not stuck with one flavor
Works great in fruit juice or any beverage

an energy drink called zipfizz has 30x the electrolytes of gatorade, and only 5 calories per serving. I use to work for the company.

electrolytes are free ions that are important for the bodies conduction of electrical signals. so these are important for heart rhythm and brain and nerve functions. we need sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, hydrogen phosphate and hydrogen carbonate.

Electrolytes are salts that conduct electricity and are found in the body fluid, tissue, and blood. Examples are chloride, calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium. Sodium (Na+) is concentrated in the extracellular fluid (ECF) and potassium (K+) is concentrated in the intracellular fluid (ICF). Proper balance is essential for muscle coordination, heart function, fluid absorption and excretion, nerve function, and concentration.

And to add to both these posts...

People who sweat a LOT, are in heavy training and/or live in very hot conditions may find they lose a lot of these electrolytes through their sweat and need to replace them through one of the products outlined above. I used NUUN when training for a half marathon as I was not only sweating a lot but drinking masive amounts of water each day which can flush out valuable nutrients. The average person training in the gym does NOT need an electrolyte formula. It always makes me laugh when I see guys drinking sugar laded powerade or gatorade for a short, light workout at the gym at 6am!
