I would recommend adding some creatine mono to your stack,.. it'll put weight on you pretty quick

i have always shied away from them when feeling bad, but finally got my mind set upon doing them fully, and have them as the center of my split, getting the most focus and time for training.

After allowing myself to sleeep 8 hours, I have woken up still feeling sick. Congestion, sore throat, lightheaded..will try to hydrate as much as possible, and hope to still get the leg workout in after work.

That sucks bro! Earlier this week I only got 4 hours of sleep for 2 nights and still went to workout and do cardio. I think I was only beating myself up even more, as this is the first day that I am actually feeling 100% after getting 3 nights of 7 hours of sleep.

I'd say take it easy today, take some meds, hydrate, and hit it hard tomorrow if you're schedule allows.

if im not feeling well tonight i'll skip it..i wouldnt want to give anything less than 100% for leg day..i'm going to focus on eating and resting today i guess

worked all day despite being sick. Upon getting home I decided not to go with my leg workout, and rest. I'd rather switch tomorrows rest day to today and be 100% than be sick.

was really into football in HS (Just graduated) and did not play. Picked it up this past year and am in love. Just barely able to dunk now, but am more of a 3 pt shooter :( lol

u should list how much weight you do during your workouts and not just the exercise name and number of reps. this way you could look back on your early logs and see how you've gone up in weight and improved and stuff like that.

Yes... that's very critical. I take a small notebook and pen to the gym and I keep track of everything I do after each set. This way I don't have to remember what I did after the workout session. I also look back at the last time I did the same excercise and try to see if I can add some pundage depending on the excercise.

After 4 hours sleep and 12 hour process of moving to college 400mi away, i was unable to get any kind of workout in today, and felt/ate horribly. Will step it up tomorrow for sure.

Just got back from dinner...ridiculous amount of food available! Eating is far easier without having to cook. School provides pretty healthy cooking methods and clear info on nutrition and macros :D

6-10 beers or so at my first college party, planned less than 2..need at least 10 hours sleep to feel even ok tomorrow AM...eating pb sandwich and beef now to help dull tomorrows stomach ache sure to come

College will do that to you. Can't eliminate everything. Just don't get yourself too involved with this where you wake up one day and wonder why you didn't attend more parties etc. I know its only for 3 months but, Im trying to beat you in this 3 month contest, so drink up! ;)

5 hour energy is a great hangover helper come morning. Try it out for sure. Something with the B vitamins and your body's depleted state just make it perfect for the morning after.

YES!!!!! Thats my home gym! Its totally clean and the weight room isnt too crowded at all. BBall ftw too....small world man

You know the eastern european PL there?..hes the only guy besides myself who deadlifts lol

well i still have 3 more meals today, and its been tough to eat cafeteria food a lot, as its still under summer hours which sucks, but will end monday. Once that happens i can eat whatever from 8 till 8 :D On my way to eat one last meal now, and definitely bringing tupperware for meat ;)

If its one thing I hate about my workouts is being rushed. I just hate the feeling that I 'have' to finish before a certain time. As someone here once said, 'I like going to the gym because that's one of the few places where I can be selfish and worry about it'.

Sometime though I find it if I only have 45 minutes, my intensity is out of this world because Im trying to fit it all in there and end up supersetting everything.

Nice DL#'s. My deadlifts are on Thursday, Im going to start adding more weight to them.

The lat pull downs, are those on the machine cable pull down?

yeah machine cable, i usually do more but this machine felt odd. and yes, being rushed sucks! but if i have to choose between 15 mins extra workout or dinner, i'd have to choose eating!

Lol i love my fronts more than my reg squats..form is much cleaner :)

As for gingerbread protein...its actually not too bad :D

But as for recently..I have lost tons of sleep with college work and sickness. Decided to take my first week off in 4 months, rather than bury myself in the ground with another week of training. I ran 2 miles yesterday and surprisingly had DOMS in my legs and obliques, odd since i run a lot already..

The weather here has been great as well! However, insomnia proved to get me once again. I spent all day studying (and eating, of course :D ) and when it came time to sleep, i couldnt get any...2 hours out of the last 24. (One in math class lol) Not going to kill myself with the deads today when sick, so just gonna eat once more (3,400 cals so far) and go to bed.

thank you! Its ironic i've already gotten my freshman 15...less than 2 moths into school :D and i've only drank twice! BF% is still the same, which is a good sign after that much weight so soon, im guessing its my post sickness noob gains, and a plateau on the way..till then, Bulking/Compound Lifts FTW!

good job on getting your weight back up. the way your eating you should be able to get to 200. strong deadlifts BTW.

Honestly...I'm not a huge fan of the deadlift..I throw it in once in a while but when i do it just kills my squats for that week..I also think it takes away from the rest of my back day...However, I can't argue that some of the biggest dudes on this site are DL fanatics so..what do i know..lol

I remember when I used to do 225x10x3... then I started cutting and all hell borke loose! LOL. :)

My bench max at the time was about 315, Im pretty confident now that I don't know if I'd be able to put up 275. :( Sad, isn't it?

But the thing for me is that's NOT my focus right now, so Im constantly having a battle inside my head.

lol...devastating sicknesses ftl. I've just done more than just regular squats, such as front squats, occasional leg press, and my other leg exercises. Just mix it up, and keep up the regular squats; then just eat like crazy and watch the growth!

Woke up today feeling odd, blurred vision in one eye. Migraine within an hour, had to leave my first class, but after sleeping 4 more hours (got 8 last night..) my head felt ok. If I'm not feeling as weak I plan on still working out tonight, but if the migraine reappears I will just try to eat as much as I can stomach and sleep it off. :(

alive..on my way back to being 100%, gaining appetite slowly but surely. Sleeping has been very difficult, and a full night would be really useful right now.

Cool. Im taking Controlled Labs Green Magnitutde cratine and White Flood. The first time I took I wanted to bench press 1000lbs, DL 1000lbs, curl 130lbs... the pump was unbelievable and I noticed it in my lifts. It tapered off to the point where Im scratching my head since Im not feeling anything.

I did workout once without the creatine and white flood and noticed perhaps a little less 'pump' or motivation to get the last 2 reps up, but I don't know what the previous night looked like, so I can't be 100% certain on that. I should a test day where I don't take it and compare it to my other lift days.

I hate you for recommending turkey burgers! They should be made illegal, that's how good they are. ;)

I used a sample of SP250 a few days ago for arms....literally the best arm pump I've ever gotten...I'll admit I was a little shaky for the first few minutes of the workout but after that it was gravy

just the opposite for me..got cheap superpump so...yaa..more stimulants for now...but considering going caffeine free for 2 weeks to increase its effectiveness
