Okay, just thought I'd pose a question, and this forum seemed as good as any.
What does it take to enter a competition, in terms of a body and mind set. I have been lifting for a while and find that like most anything, I need a goal, something to work towards. I find in bb/working out that it is hard to for me to determine if I have attained what I wanted to attain, and for me, just saying I look better is pretty subjective. Therefore, I have been considering setting a real goal, such as entering a competition.
Stats: 31 yrs, 200 lbs, 46c, 32w, 16a, 23 quads, about 8-9% bf, currently natural.
Okay, I realize this is small for my height, and I am working to bulk up. If I were to enter a competition, I feel as though I'd be too small to be anything but silently laughed off the stage. If I were to give myself a year, could I enter? What is a competion all about? Is is size and showmanship? I am not really into publically flaunting my body like some guys at the gym, but somehow being judged by my peers might help to motivate me and give me a goal to work towards.
I could post a pic or two if you wanted em to assess.
