Loca - watch out, she might be headed to Dollywood! Haha.
Anyway - if anyone here lives near the coast in Texas (hell even Looziana) I'd seriously monitor this system.
I've been watching it off and on today.
The conditions are ripe in the Gulf for it to become a big 'un.
Eh - might as well fill your car up now. Crude prices will jump 20 bucks once we get a confirmed hurricane in the GOMex.
(This map is already off - looks like the center of circulation is in the Yucatan channel between Mx and Cuba. Not where the Hurricane Center had it at 11pm.)

I watch the tropics since everyone moves to Baton Rouge if a hurricane hits anywhere in Looziana.
No prob.
I'd warn the Misc but I don't think anyone would take it seriously.

OK - so anyone know anyone in Corpus Christ,TX??
Those people are in serious trouble. Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel is heading to Corpus Christi to pull Dolly towards him.
(If you don't know - Jim is a hurricane magnet. Got right in the path of Katrina.)

Ahem, my info may say Brooklyn, but I am a Texas girl. AND, I am currently in Houston.
I am just checking in to say that I despise that comment. :) Don't mess with Texas.
