eat, eat, eat
if she's not gaining weight she's most likely not consuming enough calories
to gain you should be at least 500 over maintenance
not sure what her w/o plan is like
but cut cardio to only incline walk on treadmill - definitely no HIIT
and go for heavier sets, less reps.. no supersets etc...

she doesnt do any cardio besides rollerblading a few times a week.
her w/o plan is the same as mine and she eats almost eveyrhting i do except im gaining all the time and she just sits there. lol
Should we try a small weight gainer?

I am no expert, but I think it really depends on her height and B.M.R. I know you can do a google search to find out how many calories she needs a day to MAINTAIN her weight, obviously she would have to eat more to gain weight. now i agree with a previous post about her having to "eat, eat, eat" but i would be careful about WHAT she eats. If i were her and trying to gain weight, i would still want most of my calories to be from protein (chicken, tuna) complex carbohydrates (oatmeal, wheat breads etc;) or maybe having an extra meal a day. It's all a math problem with figuring out her B.M.R. and taking it from there.

Hope this helps.

Eat more, consume more protein, compound lifts, heavy and low rep. She should be adding reps or weight as often as she can... progression is key. She shouldn't work body parts more than twice a week and should have plenty of rest and recovery in between.
