A friend of mine asked me to train her. Like most people she wants to lose fat and get toned. Does anyone have any advice for me on what works for women to build muscle and remain feminine? I obviously don't know anything about training for women so any help would be appreciated.

check any other post on here...
heavy lifting + clean diet + some cardio = hot body
same exercises that work on men work on women (check out my photos, i squat 225, DL 205, bench 130, and I doubt people would say i don't look feminine)

look thru the posts and also, research some stuff on your own, it's harder for women to lose fat then men so it'll be a slow process for her but you can figure it out!

Seriously, if you are not able to answer these questions, you're not qualifed to train this person. If you do, the odds are very high that this person is going to spin her wheels, not get anywhere in making any positive changes in her physique, get frustrated with a lack of results and quit. This could damage your friendship. You should decline and she should find someone qualified to teach her.
