Lets talk about how you start on a client to ensure you don't injure them
I personally do alot of bodyweight calistetics, squats, lunges, push ups, assisted pull ups and some good dynamic stretching.
I also like short times between sets to keep them sweating.
and of course some walking/slow jogging pre and post workout.
how about you guys?!

Depends on what exercises are going to be performed.
Generally I like to have people warm up their core with some ab work and hyper extensions when working large muscle groups above or below the waist, and if they're coming in 'cold' start with some light cardio, stairs or eliptical.
I like having clients do light rotator cuff exercises for anything involving shoulders, pulling or pressing movements.
For legs, I like to get them doing body weight or ball squats and lunges.
Of course stretching. I'm a stickler for having people stretch for at least 10 min. before jumping into barbell/dumbell squats or lunges to get those ligaments prepped for action.

If the client is deconditioned or not conditioned, then yes, that would be my approach as well.
