wow, that internship is very comprehensive - and it looks very impressive -
For everyone, these were the study requirements -
The Certification Program:
? A 10-Month MAT Certification Program
? Instruction and practical application over 8 ? 3 day weekends
(Friday: 9:30 - 5:30)
(Saturday: 8:30 - 5:30)
(Sunday: 8:30 - 4:00)
? Course Outline
Week 1 & 2 - Lower Body
Week 3 & 4 - Upper Body
Week 5 & 6 - Trunk & Spine
Week 7 & 8 - Cervical Spine & Accessory Muscles & Integration
? All classes will be directed specifically towards each interns educational background
Personal Training requires just a weekend certification, so some people may ask what's the benefit of this? Well MAT lists is as one of their objectives:
? To provide trainers and physical therapists with a way to immediately increase their income potential while separating themselves from their respective fields
That sounds like a good marketing point that could help a trainer out - although this is a lot of study to go through -
But you know what, any additional effort or commitment you make in this business does eventually go rewarded, especially if you're independent - so putting this much effort up front through one course sounds worthwhile -

Are you saying this is a good idea, or are you selling it?
