Hello

A few days ago I was horsin around with my buddies and one of my friends pulled on my neck pretty hard, making all of the tendons/ligaments surrounding my neck (traps too) very sore. 2 days later I started to get ulnar nerve problems in my left hand, and it has been traveling back and forth between right and left hands.

This leads me to believe, (especially because I have not been doing anything that would injure it at elbow/wrist) that it could be inflamed tissue or a disc or something around where both ulnar nerves originate to go to both hands. All I can do right now is speculate because I have no medical insurance (don't talk to dad/he sends no money, mom is broke)

Question I have is, do you think it is inflammation around the neck/spine causing the pinching or whatever (I know it's impossible to tell, but based on the info I think someone could make an educated guess), and how could I fix this potentially? I just started taking NSAIDs at about 600mg a day (200 3x) . I know it's horrible to self diagnose but I really have barely any options. Could a chiropracter realign my spine or something?

Thanks for any suggestions

If you only got pulled in one direction (your head) and the symptoms are in both hands, the problem is most likely cervical (in the neck nerve roots). Give it a week or so taking the NSAIDs and see if the symptoms stop.

Yeah, bilateral symptoms mean its from the spine. Chances are your muscle in the area is swollen and is pressing on a nerve pathway.

Like he said, rice.
