I have a gentleman with 50+ years and is fairly coordinated, only has poor balance and I am looking for exercises that would be well suited to him, keeping in mind he is not in the best of shape. I can think of Stability ball crunches, One arm db rows, any other lesser known exercises that you could recommend?

anything sitting down like curls db press you can do alot with the db's sitting down work the bi's tri's lats' and shoulders legs you name it it can be done sitting down. The MAIN thing is his balance you don't want him to fall down. I would keep him sitting down as much as i could

give him exercises to improve balance and coordination.. dont just get him to sit down throughout the program. Most of the leg exercises should be done standing up! get him to work on that balance. Adding swissball exercises can be very beneficial.
