Ironade Hydramins - Taste??

I bought a bottle of Ironade Hydramins - Multi trace mineral powder "plain flavor." I bought it a while ago and haven't tried it till now. It tastes like $#!&... Has anyone else used this stuff? Has mine gone bad or is it always this bad tasting? I can choke it down if I must but want to make sure it isn't bad first!! ahaha

I've been getting headaches after my runs and so am going to increase water consumption, sugars before/after run, and electrolytes.. I'd appreciate any comments from those who have used this or a similar product.

If you plan on increasing water/sugar/electrolytes before cardio why not try gatoraid/crystal lite/(insert flavor powder here) powder and mix the minerals in there? From my experience multivitamin mineral poweder is a burst of different flavors, each one unique and wierd and nasty. You could also try adding them to your protein shake.

I mixed it in with Whey Cooler Cran-Raspberry Cocktail (as the stuff tastes great on it's own - in water) but the taste of the mineral stuff still came through very strong! Do mineral supplements taste bad as a general rule?

usually in liquid form yes that taste like crap

as for expiration it should tell you on the bottle :)
